Like if somehow the ship lighting the cyno was rendered immobile and vulnerable, allowing the target to either destroy it or escape from it?
Oh...
And what if the ships capable of lighting said cyno were either flimsy or carried a significant delay before they can target something after decloaking, allowing most people with half a brain to escape?
Oh... This is EVE - Everybody Versus Everybody.

i said there should be a effect like you just said on the fleet....
Those were descriptions of the current game mechanics affecting the lighting of a Covert Cyno. Oh, and you can see them coming from a mile away; Neut in system, nothing on Dscan, must be cloaked, probably has Cyno, be careful.
While there's that cloaked Neut in system, you could use:
- A 1400 Quick Locking Tornado will keep your mining fleet forever safe from the horror of a SB lead Covert drop. The Bomber decloaks, lights the cyno, you blap it (because hey, a frigate that's not moving), and the fleet bridging ends up randomly spread around the system.
- A Falcon will do similar, allowing your Mining barge to simply warp away from the now impotent stealth bomber.
- If they bring something heavier than a Stealth bomber to light the Cyno, you have at least 5 seconds to react and exeunt before anything gets tackled. (Try fitting webs in your mids and keeping your friends webbed, you'll fleetwarp almost instantly.).
If you want to set a trap, keep a cloaked Interdictor near where you expect the bomber to arrive, and bubble the Cyno (the fleet will land within 5km of the Cyno, the bubble is 20km) and tackle expensive things (a cloaked Arazu works great here). Now get your fleet in, either from Station/POS/Next door or a Blops/Titan bridge, depending on resources.
Why should you get to have a turkey shoot against the fleet bridging in without any effort on your part? This is EVE - Everybody Versus Everybody.
