This system is .4 and right by .5 and has jaspet, so it atteacts a lot of attention. But this is my system. Anyone else feel the same way? Like you want to declare war on all the people who npc, mine, pvp, run missions, and socialize there? I want the system just for myself. Anyone who has ever felt the same way, speak up. Maybe we can talk in game and join forces or share expereinces or something.

Not really. There were systems I used to call 'home' but claim them? nah. With an attitude like that you'll just attract a load of players in system looking to pod you just for the sake of it. :P

Tought you did say that for 5 million you would leave the system ??? yesterday that is, I was quite busy doing missions somewhere else and could not bother to come along in the hunt ... atleast they had fun yesterday hunting for you, even that you used 4 WCS and they claimed you did threath with war to all corps currently "working" in the system.

We have an elected Mayor, and he has said nothing to me or my group about this claim. Have you filed with the System title holding company if one exsists?
If/Until that comes to a resolution, you will not be allowed to antagonize new players without consequence.

Everyone's allowed to stake a claim. But as so many alliances find, it's not a simple as shouting 'my system/constellation/region'. You've got to defend your claim. So yes, form up your corp, and claim your system, and kill anyone who enters.
It'll be a laugh if nothing else.

Yes I did say 5 million and I'd leave, but no one ever paid. I used 4 WCS eh? When was this? I never had a WCS fitted and I never even had any in my cargobay, so however told you this dosent evne have a reason to have bee nconfused. It is a pure lie.
Last night I destroyed 19 ships total, and lost my Ishtar. I had 11 people hunting me at the busiest time. I destroyed 1 BS, 2 Battlecruisers, 1 HAC, 2 frigates, several cruisers(around 7), 3 barges, and 1 iteron. Ransomed a few pods, killed 1 pod, and let 4 or 5 pods go becuase IMO killing pods is griefing in -most- cases. I finally lost my HAC when warping into a belt to find 3 BS, 2 battlecruisers and 3 cruisers. I engaged them head on, lost most my drones, got out of there barely, got my ship repaired and reloaded my drones, and flew straight back, purposfully engaging yet again 1 v 8. What happened next is a slightly long story, but needless to say my drones decided to to act really really weird and it caused me to get destroyed while I was doing very well. Good fight though. Oh, the last cruiser(plate thorax) and battlecruiser I killed, I was using a harpy, and THEY attacked me (they were fitted for pvp but somehow I won using a t2 frigate).
Declare war? Yes by saturday night the 3 largest corporations based in Basgerin will be at war with me.

Why should we pay you? You would just come back for more. But then I subscribe to the whole millions for defense, not a penny for tribute thing 
I can validate he used no WCS (I got the Killmail ), in fact he fought fair and square throughout. I dont aggree with his carrer choice, but he put up a great and challenging fight.
Why would it be surprising that we would attack you after you had spent the day antagonizing folks? I may be misunderstanding the statment though, but it sounds like your indignant that you were attacked.
Great, that will aliviate the loss of security status

Thanks for helping dispell the WCS myth.
I held to the "pay me 5 million isk and I'll leave" offer so that in case I was horribly ruining anyones day there is yet another simple and easy escape method. I think it might be too late for that, however. But I am always willing to negotiate.
For the record, unless I fear more people are warping in and I dont have time, I will usually ransom your ship and I will ALWAYS ransom your pod (if i can scramble it) and only destroy it under extreme circumstances. It is my opinion that pod killing is a very griefy thing to do and that's not what I'm about.

If you wanna take Basgerin and think you're the first person to try, you're very wrong. Ever wondered why no one corporation/player is running it? Empire is bustling with people looking for pvp, so even if you did "claim" the system, you'd need to enforce that with more than just one ship. Whenver you were offline people would just resume their normal business, and you would lose your "claim".
Trying to do it is like claiming the moon in real life - it means nothing, and no-one would listen to you or care. (Apart from stupid people who get suckered into giving you money)
