Hi there, I have had an apoc for a while and it worked quite well, but after some upgrades it keeps missing and even moa's can strip half my defences, even at my optimal range, what the hell am i doing wrong! here is is my set-up: 
Highs: 1x Tachyon Modulated Energy Beam 1 3x Tachyon Modal Laser 1 1x Mega Pulse Laser 1 1x Shock "limos" Siege Missile Bay 1 1x Limos Cruise Laucher 1 1x Heavy Modal laser 1
Med: 1x Webber 1x Optical Tracking Computer 1 2x Cap Recharger 1
Low Slots: 1x Large Armor Repairer 1 2x 1600mm Reinforced Crystalline carbinide plates 1 1x Reactor Control Unit 1 2x Capacitor Power Relay 1 1x Energized Adaptive Nano Membrane 1
CPU: 575.00 Powergrid: 25740 Cap: 5280
My shield is gone within seconds.
Can anyone tell me why i am missing all the time? and when it hits, its light hits!

What are you shooting at? Tach's aren't much use for anything other than slow cruisers and BSs. Try Mega Beams, or a rack of Mega Pulse instead,

A few pointers
1) Dont mix n match weapons. It makes it hard to load ammo for the appropriate range. Go with beams for missions - nice balance between dmg and range
2) Bleh at a siege launcher and cruise. You NEED anti frig. Fit small launchers or 2 small guns.
3) Forget your SHIELDS. You are armour tanking.
4) To armour tank PROPERLY its all about "resistances" and "cap recharge"
Suggested lowslot setup for good tank is found in the thread I linked. (Use active hardners)

Apoc needs lots of cap. Aim for Energy Management lvl 5, Energy Systems Operation lvl 5, Controlled Bursts at lvl 4 (at least). Hull Upgrades lvl 5 and Repair Systems lvl 5 should be on the list of required skills too.
In high slots, go for 6 big guns of the same type (I like Mega Pulse), with the other two slots anti-frig (missiles or small guns, depending on your skills).
Inthe mid slots, I'd drop the webber for another cap recharger, and save up for cap recharger 2's, coz you really need them. If you're poor, use Eutectics.
A fairly standard low-slot fit out for an Apoc armour tank is 2 x large armour reps (or if you have fitting probs then 1 x large, 1 x medium), 2 x cap relays, and armour hardeners filling the rest of the low slots. Even a cheap named armour rep is worth it over the standard tech 1 item.

Use this: 6 modulated dual heavy beams 2 modulated heavy pulse
1 AB 1 webber 2 T2 cap rechargers
1 large t2 repairer 1 medium t2 repairer 3 hardeners 2 cap relays.
This is the basic apoc mission setup that requires less skill to operate effectively.
