The war between AOI and ABP is coming to an end
With the news that Apostles of Insanity has joined the Phoenix alliance we are forced to end our war with them. Although we think this is quite possibly the worst decision pa command has made.. ever, we will respect our standings with the alliance. All ABP pilots have been instructed to avoid conflict with pa until the war is over.
As for AOI, battles have been fought in game and on the forums, once again we are forced to respond to lies and propaganda posted to tarnish our name, Requiem Inc were not paid by us nor did we request their assistance, their reasons for going to war with AOI are their own.
To all the AOI pilots that fought honourably and spoke with respect in local thank you and good fight, to the rest lol @ you.

Yes, the timing of AOI joining the PA also corresponds suspiciously close with the recent Requiem Inc war dec upon them which unfortunately we will now be unable to see through.

Honestly Mez, don't you think it is just a little odd to say you have respect for some of our pilots in the same post that you insult our corp and insult the PA leadership's judgement for inviting us to join? Have you considered that maybe PA knows something you don't?
You say there have been battles in-game and on the forums -- do you expect us to not respond in either arena? You shoot at us, we shoot back. You would do the same. It's as though our responding to your posts is somehow not appropriate.
Let's recall some facts:
- ABP initiated all of this by deccing AOI
- ABP made the big attention-grabbing forum announcement of the war dec
- ABP made the cool propaganda video publicizing their successes in the war
- ABP has now made this post publicizing the end of the war and insulting PA's invitation to AOI
Yet, according to your version of reality, AOI is the propaganda machine, and ABP is the poor put-upon victim of lies.
AOI has not initiated these forum postings and has not sought pubicity, yet we're accused of propagandizing simply by responding with a different opinion to those postings that have been consistently initiated by ABP. Maybe the objective observer might ask who is actually waging the propaganda and forum war and seeking publicity, compared with who is responding to the propaganda.
And if you want to start calling people liars, which you seem to do, if I were you I would remember that's a two way street that just calls your own credibility into question. This is not the first time you've posted in these forums that you are responding to lies -- I guess everyone else is lieing but you, eh? Perhaps the objective observer might think you are protesting just a little too much a little too often.
For myself, I enjoyed the numerous fights very much. You guys are good adversaries and know what you are doing most of the time. The war was a great training ground for our fast growing recruitment class, so ABP deccing us for the last month was helpful, believe it or not. Bottom line, its honestly a shame that some people have chosen to make this a personal thing.

Prior to making these kind of insinuations, you might consider that any corp with thoughtful leadership, significant membership and sizable assets doesn't make this kind of move on a whim, nor is it a 20-minute decision cycle, at least not for us. We carefully weighed our options over a period of weeks prior to making what we believe is a very good decision to accept PA's invitation, but I'm sure there are some people with an axe to grind who will believe what they want to believe.
Apostles of Insanity is growing again.

Oh god...
I always thought PA were a decent alliance but I guess not. Enjoy having a corp in your alliance that refuses to follow rules. Also, if anyone wants to invade PA think twice! You have smack to deal with now! :/

I am simply amused at the narrow minds. Most of you whom I have never heard of seem to know all abot me while i know nothing about who you. While your sitting around reading the forums and posting negative threads about myself or my corp we will be "playing" a game. I do not know if most of you are aware of this but "EvE" is a game and we treat it as such. Your hatered in game and forums fuels us and sends us many more excellent recruits so thanks a lot and keep up the GOOD WORK.

AOI have a history of running when there getting beaten. If the Imperium IGA had been up at the time VOTF wouldn't have had to declare war on us to protect AOI. Mind you I like it when targets flee to an IGA its soooo much more fun with all those extra targets  . ABP should have continued there war with AOI and given PA a boot up the ass for doing something so braindead.
Now that PA has publicly announced the war with 5, I'd like to hear again from those who crowed so self-assuredly and with such certainty regarding AOI "running away from wars".
As I have stated previously, we know what we were doing and we have a plan for our corporation. And, even though posts like the one quoted are surprising to me, I suppose predjudiced individuals without information of any substance other than their own pre-conceived notions will expose their ignorance for all to see by publicly jumping to conclusions - embarrassingly wrong conclusions.
Braindead clearly cuts both ways.

Last time I looked you were not part of AOI when the aforementioned incidents took place, so I suggest not talking about 'lack of information of any substance'.
I have to say, I was quite surprised when Unbroken Legion merged with AOI. I hope you knew what you were getting into.
I hope that the future will show us that AOI has changed, but I will say that convincing that won't be easy.

As for Solidline Enterprise we was always friend of Atomic Battle Penguins and we will always stay friend.
Eve is a game but Friendship always stay.
I did ask P1rate Dave to stop this war because it will envolve PA and with respect he agree.
Atomic Battle Penguins are a great bunch of ppl they fight well and smack free so it always a clean fight they give. They earn my respect since they formed their corp.
For AOI that join PA I forget the past but still hurt by the smack of Fatball when he smack me on the IMPERIUM forum. but the past is the past and eve is just a game.
SolidLine obey the rule of the PA and i m happy with PA leadership. We are only Soldier that fight.
Respect and Honor is the way to go in the game. |
