TEST ALLIANCE REBEL ALLIANCE
A short time ago in a galaxy not so far away.....
I decided to leak an AAR (after action report) for a fleet I just ran.
(11:25:32 PM) Fleet Name: Burn baby burn FC: Callduron TEST Mumble Op 3 Caracals > logis > damps > else couple of dics please NOL @ now Duration: Hour ish Reimbursable: dics only
#### SENT BY [Redacted] to All online test/dawww @ 2013-05-16 22:20:02 EVE Time ####
[that's a Jabber ping btw for anyone who's been wondering what one looks like].
We had a smallish fleet of about 7 caracals with frigate and logi support plus a couple of dictor heroes.
We went next door to PR- and camped the undock for a little while to see if Pizza wanted to play. After a few minutes we went next door to 1DH and camped the CFC guys for a while, almost catching a Buzzard who was playing chicken with us. Eventually they undocked 3 carriers so we insulted them robustly and left. As we left Pizza uncloaked and launched bombs but we were aligned and all got out so pffftt to Pizza, gg no re.
went to A-E where we caught a NC. Stabber.
We then went to 1-SMEB where we blew up half a dozen NC. bubbles and shot one of four onlining SBUs to see if we could spark a response. They sent a couple of bombers in so I decided to retreat having won the isk war.
NC. got all excited and decided to follow us in a bomber while rage-forming a Talos gang but apparently pressing the cloak button is hard because we blew their scout up.
Bet he wishes he was in an elite pvp spaceguild like TEST where we'd teach him to press a button. With his tongue probably.
We then airily swanned home through the star-spangled sky like a flight of doves gracefully docking up in NOL-M9 like the twinkle-toed rascals we are.
[leaked from the Test forums - Test spy, best spy. Many Bothans died to bring you this AAR]. |

Actually I was hoping that Black Legion might hear about it and Fleelo Knight might bring you guys back to Sakht to fight us. Or did you failcascade last time you ran away from us?
More seriously, yes I think small stuff done by junior people is interesting to a lot of people who play Eve. It's not all about sov and coalition level fights but that's the only thing that people who don't live in sov null ever hear about.
Anyway stand by for further content. I'm thinking of taking destroyers out this weekend. |

Gasp! So toxic!
No wonder there's not much content posted here.
Here's today;s after action report:
We moved into HM- where PL was gate camping. They moved out except for a couple of small ships on perches. One of our slashers decided to hero tackle a stiletto just as I warped us off without telling me and ended up in a 1v1 which he lost.
We moved to 1-S where we parked our Omens by the SBU and started slowly melting it. We did about 4% damage (leaving it at 96% shield) before NC. formed up a serious business fleet of about 40 Rokhs. We parked ourselves in a pos to wait them out and they camped it, reffing the pos at 7-1.
My plan was to just wait them out, burn out their ability to keep forming simply by hitting their sbus 23 hours a day. If a few of us in cruisers can force them to CTA then we can keep doing it and maybe burn them out.
I sent a scout to find an armed pos to see if we could park them somewhere they might lose a few ships. We warped a few ships over but they quickly got a bubble in the way.
Then I got told that my guys were urgently needed to support a FC in Fountain so I #yoloed to the jb but it was bubbled and we got caught by dictors and most of us welped. It turned out that the message was a misunderstanding and we were not in fact needed. Annoying, we welped for nothing.
I should have fleet warped just after we landed on the bubbles, half the fleet in bubbles half not and saved half of the fleet. Also I should have clarified the situation with the other FC. Also I should have got a scout to make me a few perches around the jb rather than rushing it.
So mistakes were made but lessons were learned, I'll try to do better next time.
A handful of enterprising heroes got safe and made it past all the camps back to NOL. |

After welping a fleet earlier I decided to get back on the bicycle with a nice simple frigfleet. I called for frigates and got 45 of us.
I made one squad of about 5 people "Bait Squad" and had them +1 as aggressive scouts. We jumped into the Pandemic Legion camp and chased a few interceptors then I told people to regroup, align.
One hero Slasher chased and caught an interceptor just as I warped us out without me realising it. Always tell the FC if you're about to get a tackle, bros. We warped back but he'd lost the 1v1.
We moved up to 1-S, blowing up a couple of NC. bubbles and shooting their SBU again to annoy them with notifications. Then a friendly Rokh, who had been left over from last night's epic 4-way asked me for an escort. I agreed and we took him a back way home to NOL where he reshipped into a frig.
We took a short break then warped to the jb to try to bust up a CFC gatecamp in D-3. We caught 3 frigates, which was nice work.
Then we returned to find a PL talwar gang on the NOL undock. I bounced us around looking for a nice ping and we caught a couple of them but were trading badly so after bouncing around to try to get a really good warpin and some help from a friend probing us spots I decided to call it as we'd not found a nice close spot.
Another FC took over and reshipped us to talwars which was the start of an epic brawl in NOL with Pandemic Legion and NC. lasting several hours. |

At my level of things I don't really worry about this. As a trainee FC my brief is to go find bad guys and shoot them. I prefer to pick fights I think we'll win or draw.
I'm not allowed (and not competent enough) to take 100 Rokhs off to help an ally. I'm always happy to take a band of T1 cruisers or frigates off to help an ally.
As for Talwars they're great ships. We had a three hour talwar brawl with PL last night in NOL. |

[HOME DEF] Here we go again!
Fleet Name: Here we go again! FC: Callduron TEST Mumble Op 6 Fingerbang NOL @ now Duration: short Reimbursable: no
Let's rock
#### SENT BY Redacted to Test alliance @ 2013-05-18 16:17:30 EVE Time ####
[Fingerbang is afterburner close range cruisers, loosely based on ahacs]
We had a Banderlogs cruiser fleet on the NOL undock so I went for a fast form to try and brawl them. We formed in about 5 minutes but missed Banderlogs so we went next door to PR- to play with Pizza.
They formed 3 Talos and some bombers. We took a bombing run without losses which was good as I think we can get a bit too scared of bombs and need to be reacting aggressively to bombers. They didn't kill anyone and we had time to lock up a few bombers so there's definitely potential to get kills if we use different ships.
I warped us to the station at 50km and had a dictor bubble. I told everyone to jettison bms in the bubble for decloaking. And we hung around the bubble for a bit. A Pizza tempest started playing docking games and the taloses warped to a perch at range so I decided to leave.
Some of our have-a-go hero frigates decided to cancel warp and stay and I'm afraid I rather shouted at them. People reminded me what alliance I'm in. Sorry guys!
[Note for people outside our alliance: one of the unique parts of flying with TEST is our relaxed attitude and that people are free to play how they want. So I was out of line telling hero frigates not to try to fight people even though from an efficiency point of view they were playing a low percentage game.]
We headed up to 1-S to annoy NC. I had my frigates make me perches around the jump bridge while the rest sat on the sbu shooting it. They checked me out then rage-formed into I think it was Muninns. We exited via jump bridge.
Next thing of note was a Razor gang in D-W. I was told it was Talos but it was actually bombers. I sent a Maller and some frigates in to scout. I also sent a guy in who for some reason hadn't brought a ship but he somehow managed to get lost on his way to jumping into the next system. <3
They were in bombers so I bailed on that fight too but unfortunately I didn't allow enough time for our Maller scout to rejoin us and he got caught and torped by bombers. We tried to rescue him but were too late so we cross-jumped them and returned to NOL.
I think it was a problem roaming in Fingerbang. It's very good for brawling which is why I called for it when i though RU. might fight us in cruisers but against bombers and kiting ships it's very hard to catch targets. However it's certainly sturdy and it also deters most gangs from jumping into us. |

Thanks Lucy! Here's tonight's:
Formed up as intel reached us that Fountain was buzzing. Init had a Vexor gang out which was our first point of interest.
We managed to form up talwars without any frigates! Goes to show how accessible the ship is for newbros. So I used Talwar scouts.
We exited NOL via the quieter O-I gate and word reached us of a gate camp in D-W not far away. They had spies in our fleet though so they warped off and cloaked up while we were positioning in the next system. I got a convo from Jogyn, a PL FC offering us a fight. That sounded much more fun than chasing cloaky campers so we got into HM- for an arranged fight. (I told Jogyn we'd get into system first to tidi him).
I warped us to planet 1 and had people burn off to give me perches 200km off a can I dropped at zero - up down, left right, etc. I checked range and we had a wide variety of maximum ranges from 72km to 34 km which is normal when a number of people are new.
I bounced us around a few times trying to get a position I was happy with although in retrospect we should have brawled at zero as I think all the PL guys could hit us but not all of us could hit the PL dudes because of range issues.
We also became quite straggled with our various levels of skills. I'm not quite sure what is the best fix for this. If I set 66% speed as anchor then we're tanking suboptimally as speed reduces dps.
My target calling wasn't quite perfect. Target selection was fine - I picked the closest and they were all in talwars, avoiding the opposition FC.
We killed 2 talwars lost 15 which I'll take considering the other guys have more or less perfect skills and a lot of us were new. We would have killed more with tackle or better focus fire as some of the people we primaried managed to warp off. There was some target indiscipline with people shooting pods over primaries. We had a dictor but he was having technical problems and couldn't speak on comms and I didn't use him effectively. (Half because of the problems half a mistake by me).
In the end I went for one last kill, lost my ship then got the rest out, moving people with caution back to base.
The opposition FC apologised for primarying me but it made no odds as I died at the same time as that last target and had already made up my mind to bail after him. Still it's wonderful to see an honorable courteous engagement in Eve. Thanks PL!
I really enjoyed it and I think the people in my fleet enjoyed it too. We had a chat about it for a while on comms afterwards. While there is a lot of room for improvement both for me as a FC and for pilots skill training it was a good old-fashioned fun fight and I learned a lot. |

We faced a testing day for the Rebellion yesterday. The forces of Darkness are working in collusion against us. Nullsec is something of a closed club where risk averse space rich empires love to dogpile anyone perceived weak. TEST's bold declaration of independence had stirred up a storm of bad posting and deployment South.
We were preparing for one of the greatest battles in Eve history - what could I do as a minor trainee FC with a rag tag group of newbros in Destroyers and Frigates to help?
I had an answer.
Go camp PL's staging system while they were trying to cyno in supplies.

I need at least one backup FC (must be fearless) I need one wookie impersonator Fraps/stream would be awesome (please delay 5mins)
#### SENT BY [Redacted] to All online allies @ 2013-05-25 19:41:34 EVE Time ####
We formed up and spent some time figuring out fits then moved to the PR- gate. I told the fleet we were off to hellcamp Pizza. Joyous wookie braying was heard on comms.
We had a couple of inconclusive skirmishes on the way to KFIE where it turned out that we were actually off to camp PL. (I'd kept the fleet in the dark about what we were doing just in case spies found out and stopped us getting into system).
And it was great fun!
I moved the fleet using perches and warping to a cloaky alt. We started off on one of their stations and they undocked an ahac fleet and tried to land dictors on us. Generally I was able to warp the fleet away, I made one mistake, a hic caught one of us but we were almost out of his bubble by the time he got it up and I fleet warped most of us off, the rest burned out and warped. Think that was when they caught the cruiser - he really shouldn't have been in the fleet in that ship.
We spent an hour and a half at 80km off their undocks hoping for cynos and playing docking games with Gnosis and Talwars and Carriers while mocking them in Local. At one point they had a couple of titans out on the undock so I told any of our newbros who wanted to to warp to the titans at zero and shoot it for an exciting experience. To my surprise it looks like they were all having too much fun to suicide - it's something I definitely would have done in my younger days.
The tactic of anchor up, fly at range and shoot things while our maulus bros keep them damped worked like a charm. The neuting dragoons, which I called in case a battleship or something shiny like that agressed didn't have much to do.
We had a few losses (Dragoon, Rifter, Maulus) but those were all people either not following instructions or just going in close to play with PL so no worries. We also lost a Caracal, I have literally no idea what he was doing in a fast warping frig/dessie fleet. I guess I probably ought to have checked fleet comp more but we don't really have a culture of telling people they can't bring the wrong ship. Hopefully he'll learn from this.
We got no kills, the closest being a cov ops which I actually managed to get two shots off on but most of the fleet couldn't hit him.
The doctrine has real potential but needs a certain critical mass of dps ships. The talwars seemed ineffective at this very long range because of the time it takes missiles to land. Usually you only have 2 seconds before someone docks or warps if you're lucky.
The mauluses were amazing and completely neutralised anything but a serious rage-form. Even with 3 carriers and 3 battlecruisers on the undock we were immune to anything they could do.
It really feels like a potentially useful doctrine if we can get more people into the right dps ships. It probably needs to be tightened to just Mauluses and Cormorants as the other stuff not only couldn't do much but was more likely to be killed.
Even as it was we were useful I felt in inhibiting enemy cynos. As soon as we left a Kestrel undocked and lit a cyno. Next time there's a strat op if we do a full 8 hour rota with boot camp FCs using Cormorants we could potentially interdict the undock and disrupt their supply and force them to spend a lot of effort chasing us.
It was certainly fun to FC, 2 hours just flew by.

Today's BR:
I joined a fleet that was shooting the latest crop of SBUs in stealth bombers and someone suggested we could use talwar support. I volunteered to grab a few dudes and come help in Talwars.
We formed up and got to 1-SMEB. We skirmished with a kitchen sink NC.fleet of interceptors and a smartbombing battleship for a bit
The skirmishing was pretty effective. There were other TEST forces there but we helped kill a Rokh, some dics and other small stuff. It cost us 9 talwars and a couple of frigates.
Then they brought in Muninns which I didn't want to fight with Talwars. So I hid in the pos for a bit.
I got instructions to mess with PL who were out and about in Hawks. I got us out of 1-SMEB and at first set course for KFIE because I didn't know where they were. Then I heard they were in NOL.
We went there through a Goon gatecamp in HM-. I messed up on the far side, telling people to align before I loaded grid. We got bombed, I told people to hold cloak, realised that that was a dumb instruction after tellling them to align and we lost a couple of dudes before I got us out.
In NOL we positioned to skirmish PL but got bombed and I had the fleet positioned poorly. I need to try to keep the fleet aligned more as it wasn't necessary to be unaligned when we got bombed. I was just too slow - the first bomb killed our ships but I warped all the pods out before the second bomb went off.
We reshipped, re-pinged and went back into the fray, killing a sniggwaffe rapier.
I then took us back up to 1-SMEB where we killed a NC. Battleship. It was perched about 180km away so we burned towards it. When we got to 130km I told Alpha to go tackle it and he got an amazing point. There was a nervous few seconds as we burned closer hoping the tackle would survive but we got within range and started shooting it down, overheated. It was faction fit and Alpha tells me it was Vince Drakken, leader of NC. My first celebrity kill as FC!
(They've been coming thick and fast for other new FCs - one killed Lelob's 4b isk booster loki on his second time FCing and got Staff0 a couple of fleets later).
Whether it was actually Vince Drakken or not it certainly sparked a response and I warped us out the moment he popped just as a big angry rescue fleet was landing on us. Joyous wookie braying was heard once more on Mumble. We hid in the POS again.
After a bit we came back home. Another FC was forming a fleet so I stood us down to merge into his fleet.
Good fleet, Was really fun to fc. Slightly kicking myself about some of the bomb hits but we certainly traded up isk-wise. I really benefited from Alpha's backseat support.
I was mildly mocked for running an "up to 1 hour" fleet that lasted 2 and a half hours. Time flies when you're having fun :) |

Quote: [R] You available to do a fleet from 1920 to 2020? callduron: yes [R]: Feeling dasterdly? callduron: always [R]: Okay, here is the plan [R]: RDN has two R64 moons coming out when we're helping TRIBE [R]: we're not going to let them just go
which led to
(8:17:51 PM) pleaseignore.com: Fleet Name: THE HEROES TEST NEEDS FC: Callduron TEST Mumble Op 6 MWD HML Caracals > scythes > damps > else one or two dic please NOL @ now Duration: 1 hour+ Reimbursable: yes
We quickly formed a small fleet of 18 and got a titan bridge out and moved to the first moon timer without incident. One NC. in system, cloaked so I had people spread out around the tower at about 100km hoping that some of them would be close to any cyno.
They lit their cyno about 10AU away and we warped to it and blapped it.
I then had a bunch of dreads on field and we were in caracals. I had no clue whether or not we could fight dreads but i figured they'd have a pretty bad time tracking us so I orbited at 20km and had people anchor. We lost a flycatcher and a couple of caracals to carriers. I should have orbited at 80km. We took an archon down about 1/3rd shield.
They bridged in a big ahac fleet, think there were about 80 T3s to scare us off. We blapped the cyno they used then I warped us off to a safe.
We moved to the POS to see what would happen. They warped a thanny in and it cynoed and i decided we'd leave without killing that cyno. A bit too big!
Then I moved us to the second money moon nearby and our 2 scythes started repping it. Raiden had a pos gunner there. Again we spread out to 100km off in all directions and waited for a cyno. A Heron turned up and we killed it and the pod.
Then I heard from [a little bird] that although NC. had a tower down in the first system it was only anchored and they would need to fuel it. most likely with a blockade runner. It was coming out of Anchored state in 6 minutes. I stationed us around the tower at close range and had people drop cans to make it extremely difficult for a BR to fuel it. He seemed to be waiting for us to leave we were pretty happy to stay.
So I asked a boss if he could form up something to come kill the anchored tower. He was getting something together when NC. jumped caps back in to secure the location. Think we blapped that cyno too.
We went to the second location to see how that tower was doing. NC. jumped 10 caps in so we blapped their cyno and left losing a Cormorant.
8 caracals and 2 scythes + 2 flew home without further incident having forced NC. to field 20 caps and 80 T3s to counter us. Hope they feel the effects later on!
Got to say the fleet were magnificent, superb discipline, catlike reflexes and stayed on far longer than the fleet was advertised for. Our only losses were when I was curious to see how cruisers would do against caps and attacked 20 caps with 10 caracals plus one dessie.

I set up a fleet and spammed alliance for a bit. Then a couple of people pointed out I should have broadcast. Sorry for that!
A titan pilot kindly bridged us to a nearby system where we moved to the 1-S gate. A large enemy camp was reported the other side. I moved us to another system and tried to come in from there. We jumped through the Q-H gate into a sea of large bubbles. I told people to anchor and aligned planet 10. I told people to shoot the bubble.
After about 45 seconds an enemy fleet landed on us. I fleet warped off whoever was out of the bubbles and told the rokhs to mjd. I called people to keep aligning p10, get out of the bubbles and warp to me. Several people got caught, including at least one scimi.
Very sorry to the people who got caught I should have told people to align, prop mods on, overheat 2 cycles then more people would have got out.
At least some of us made it and were able to reinforce fleets. |

I saw someone say in alliance that their Rokh was stuck in 1-S so I convoed him and asked if if he wanted an escort home. He did.
I got a small gang of ass frigs and went the back way to 1-SMEB avoiding a 30 man Goon camp in HM-.
We were superbly scouted by a frigate pilot who gave the Rokh a perch which got him out of a very hot 1-SMEB (think I was told 60 in local). On the way back we had a bubble to travel through in A-E. I kept the Rokh aligned and was ready to tell the Rokh to mjd if needed (but I wanted to save it if possible). While we were shooting the bubble a bunch of strays jumped into us one at a time and we collected some kills: Nemesis, Anathema, Rifter.
Got the Rokh back to NOL using our scout's excellent perching skills. Gate was bubbled. Ass frigs burned out and the Rokh mjd-ed out. The station was hot and bubbled. I told the rest of them to leave fleet and join the home defence fleet, hid in the staging pos, and scouted the Rokh back to the station after a minute or two once it had become clear.
Very happy Rokh pilot promised to shower Test Free with isk as a thank you. |

Fleet Name: Getting Sakht in the morning FC: Callduron TEST Mumble Op 2 7TK-07 Cormorants > Maulus one dic please NOL @ now Duration: 90 mins + Reimbursable: no
#### SENT BY[Redacted] to All online test @ 2013-06-05 20:44:22 EVE Time ####
It had been a bright sunny day which seemed reason enough to go mess with NC.
I wanted to test a snipe and run away tactic in low sec. We formed with cormorants and mauluses with an intie, a dic, and a couple of frigates. We had about 8 cormorants.
We moved to Sakht without incident and our scout checked the undock. We moved to 100km off and a Harpy came out to see us off pugnaciously. I had people align to the sun. We killed the Harpy and pod but we lost a few people who didn't warp off in time when shot by gate guns. As FC I didn't explain clearly enough for the newer players that they needed to hit warp as soon as they got red on their shields. Some may have been insta-popped, the gate guns are a bit too much for this comp really even if you warp instantly (got me to half armour first volley).
We docked, repaired, warped out to an insta, smacktalked in Local. We were half-expecting them to have to batphone PL as we had a scary number of Cormorants but they hid in their stations instead. After a bit a couple of carriers undocked and they felt safe enough to sit on the undock.
One of our newbros asked for a ship and Quesa said he'd give him one. <3. I don't think he took him up on the offer (he should have) but still very much appreciated.
We messed about a bit, blowing up some secure containers then headed home.
Our scout took a chance on tackling a slicer but lost to him just before we jumped in, - 1 brave hero of the rebellion.
We explored a bit in 1-SMEB and found an undefended POS at 10-3. So we shot it and made ready to run away. A big angry gang of NC. came to chase us off, I lost 4 more people burning away from them back to NOL because I didn't exit 1-SMEB quick enough.
Good training fleet, good practice for me as FC and good practice for new people with respect to aligning and warping out. |

We covered a few systems in the Taurus constellations making some perches then headed home. In D4 our scout found a gatecamp - dram, sabre, coercer. I asked him to burn back to gate and jump in as i fleet warped us to the out-gate. He aggressed and went for the sabre killing it but losing his Enyo. We jumped in to help him but he popped just as we got there and the coercer warped out in armour. I rather chewed him out Makalu-style because I had asked him to encourage them to jump into us or failing that let me get the fleet together. Instead he soloed 3 people but did it pretty impressively and heroically. I had a private chat with him on Mumble after and we saw each other's points of view. He saw it as an opportunity to get a kill and traded up, killing a nice shiny sabre for his Enyo. I saw it as content for the group which he'd taken solo, plus we maybe could have done even better. It's all good in the end, useful pipecleaning even if the first casualty of battle was the plan. I told him his ship is reimbursable as a t2 frig on an authorised op and encouraged him to ask for reimbursement. He's a test hero even if he doesn't listen to his FC. |

6:29:26 PM) pleaseignore.com: [ROAM] pipe clean
Fleet name: pipe clean FC: Callduron TEST battlecomms Mumble Op 7 ass frigs, frigs at least one dic please Karan @ now Duration: 1 hr Reimbursable: yes _____________________________________________________ Blanket 10m on Assfrigs. Dictors from replacement program

I was asked to clean the pipe up to mid-Fountain and got a good response to the ping, over 50 frigs and ass frigs.
We pushed up to the first main chokepoint system catching a couple of CFC strays
We then got word of a big caracal fleet possibly being formed to counter us. I retreated hoping a jump bridge might be online that would take us around them but it was gone completely. The cruiser gang didn't chase us, holding at the chokepoint.
I took us around the cruisers using a side route then rushed north collecting some low-hanging fruit on the way.
We got to the system I'd been told to clean to and, after a couple of misses, caught a Dramiel. It was following us and scouting for the cruiser gang.
There is a thing with FCs - whenever we do something cool that makes us pleased with ourselves we immediately **** up right after. I'd placed us and prepped us really well for that dram and it was a superb kill. So naturally I then did something dumb as rocks.
I then jumped us into a gate camp - oops! Oh hey, there's the cruiser gang the Dram was scouting for. And they're on the other side of the gate from their scout. Well, duh, of course they are.
But fleet discipline was good, we held cloak while I told people the align, broadcast it, then we all decloaked and burned out of the bubbles as fast as we could. About 3 people got killed there but the vast majority escaped and we burned south, outrunning them.
We picked up another few kills on the way home including a juicy tengu worth over 1b. Some lucky looter scooped the 430m worth of modules it dropped. (In TEST it's free for all on loot, and we love pvpers to scoop up the riches).
Good pipe clean, killed a lot of things, lost half a dozen frigates, killed some bubbles and gate trash, avoided a nasty gang that was determined to kill us while killing their Dramiel scout. Mission accomplished, isk war won and the old FC even managed to get on some of his fleet's killmails - 4 personal killing blows with my Crow wooo hooo!

When news broke of Perdition's Ghost's perfidy I thought it would be useful to check he hadn't emptied the jump bridges. I gathered a gang of about 20 frigs and ass frigs and we went on a long loop around Fountain detailing jb status.
Broadly speaking the jb network is healthy and fully fuelled.
The gang were very patient with me and luckily NPC Fountain sent them some much deserved entertainment in form of a Hound and this Daredevil http://eve-kill.net/...kll_id=18353566
I was pleased with the Daredevil kill because I caught it with a frig gang tactic I've figured out for myself. I sit the gang on the gate at zero when I know someone's going to jump in to us. They almost always burn back to the gate from which direction 20 frigs are burning straight at them. We bumped him dropped a dozen webs and scrams on him and got a nice kill. I like this tactic, last time I took frigs out we got a Dramiel the same way.
Pride comes before a fall.
If I'd done well on the Daredevil I completely flubbed the next encounter. We landed on a gate shortly after just as a manticore jumped in. I said "get him" then I thought he warped off and jumped through and told everyone to jump. However some heroes managed to tackle and kill him despite their incompetent FC.
Sadly at one point our brave scout was lost to a very neat piece of sabre play - the sabre bubbled the gate behind us then went through and bubbled the other side catching Capri Sun Kraftfoods in his Executioner whose scouting had been every bit as delectable as the name would suggest. |
