Now I know that CCP does other things as well, but I somehow doubt this little machine (which looks like my HiFi amplifier btw) will solve every problem.

As for making major announcements of the concurrent user count, Oveur and I have mentioned previously that the next big announcement will be made at 20k users. I agree that 20k should be the next big party point, but at the same time, a progress report would also be good. A quiet little news item once a month if there has been appreciable movement wouldn't be excessive.
