I've almost used all my petitions up.
I can't open and reply to petitions.
I'm stuck. Eve randomly crashes. Sometimes it's a pain to get back in and takes a while to load my character.
This time I can't load my character at all.
Everything posted here I've tried. Minus clearing whatever cache, which I don't know how to do, I didn't see how.
My drivers are all up to date, my computer is perfectly fine to run the game. I've been playing the game for over a year and a half.
This problem is fairly recent. I've been living with the game crashing randomly on me for some time. Sometimes it doesn't crash at all, sometimes it takes hours, sometimes it takes minutes, and sometimes it crashes several times in a few minutes.
I can't reproduce the error.
It's getting extremely annoying now.
Eventually it'll probably lead to a loss of my ship or something unfair. CCP doesn't replace ships either so I'll be extremely annoyed if I were to lose something valuable.
So what do I do? I don't know. What the hell am I paying for? I don't know, but I've been a loyal customer for over a year and a half.
I've petitioned the correct way under "other", no answer. I've submitted a bug report just recently.
PLEASE CCP PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE HELP! Or anyone!

To clear your cache, you need to go to the directory where you installed EVE and go to the cache directory. You can then delete the MachoNet folder. If this doesn't help, try deleting everything in the cache folder, but not the cache folder itself. This last tip should only be used as a last resort, though, if you don't want to lose your settings, pictures, etc.

Yaman, the problem is not yours.. it's CCP's. The network is borked. They also put in a "hotfix" to the network during last nights DT and since then practically everyone is dropping off due to link deaths.
Since they are onlining new hardware tomorrow I'd just suggest you turn the computer off and try after tomorrow's 8 hour downtime. And, since the hardware will be new... well.....

guess that's the best idea... i don't want to bet my money on ccp fixing this before the hardware update.. it's pretty anoying as you can't even play the most simple missions

I have resigned to doing simple things like trading rather than any fighting to make money for the next few days, at least if I CTD I wont loose anything.
Please hurry up and find the problem CCP

Will clearing the cache - Help with the game freezing after character selection.
This is the problem I am having today - Freezes at "Entering Station" But I notice there are over 10,000 people on?
Any ideas?

I am having the exact same problem, I had it yesterday too, it's grossly out of proportion and I have lost several millions of isk of drones and mission rewards due to this, nowithstanding the standings lost with the Caldari Navy due to missions that will inevitably be failed.
FIX IT CCP!!!!!!
(Tomorrow isnt fast enough!!!!!!!)

Have the same problem on my two computers.
Random crashes and mostly one of the computers still is connected to EVE while the other is disconnected and some mins later it's the other way around. And sometimes both EVE clients crash at the same time. I happend to me in all kind of systems from Caldari to Amarr space even when my chars are safly in a station
I have 1 client running on 1 pc.
lucky only lost 17k ttitanium while trying to trade.
It's hard to do anything in EVE.

im lucky if i stay connected for 15 minutes right now.. today and yesterday have been unplayable. We have an empire war and i cant participate if i cant stay connected. Fix it... or give me my money back for the last two days of crap.

I learned from ccp, next time plan to buy a new graphics card, i'll install the new drivers a week or two before it arrives so its ready.

too many people have this issue.
and the thing is i've never had this issue before.
then again i havn't played on this computer for a year.
so who knows. i thought it was me.
my friend's computer with a fresh install of windows and eve and drivers also crashes.
my question is --- why are there people who have no problems at all?
am i just that unlucky? :)
