Look, you guys who are sitting here poo-pooing the skills of newbies and miners really have to realize exactly who it is you are talking to. A little over a year ago Dreddit was fielding fleets of pilots with less SP (other than mining.. we had many miners at the start. Goons hot dropped our first mining op after all) in total than the pilots we would regularly kill. This isn't some pie in the sky plan, this will work and we know it will work because we have done it before.
Xystance learned to FC in high-sec and is a near month one Dredditor, I am a day two Dredditor. Both of us remember pubbies saying the same thing and adding "Dreddit will be gone in a month" over and over, and look where we are today. If you think it can't be done, **** off, you aren't needed. If you don't give a **** if it is possible, want to fly with friends and throw yourselves at ships until your wrecks jam the enemy's guns and they quit the field in disgust, they you are have found the right place.

We certainly seem to have morphed into that! At the time, we were just a giant mass of newbies all crammed into one system. To qualify as a "Bitter Vet" in that group, you just needed to fly a Battleship! We were deced on day 1 by some Vampire loving group and spent our entire time in Highsec in one war dec or another by people trying both to destroy us, and farm easy kills. It was trial by fire. You either learned to shead your pubby ways and learned to ACTUALLY play the game, or you didn't last long in Dreddit. Those who war deced us.. they had a good time for a day or two. Until we would take a fleet out and crush them in **** fit rifters and the kitchen sink! We even had pubbies suicide ships just to get in on juicy KMs.
We are willing to teach you guys what we learned the hard way, and have a blast doing it. |
