My prefered playground is the aurohunen system.
m3g4(tank, hans and proto) usally always come out and camp the korama gate.
The last few days have been pretty quiet though, proto was in local so i thought id have a look and see if his bounty had been claimed!!. i was surprised to see that he was not in m3g4 anymore, any1 any ideas?, are ppl leaving this corp?.
Iv been told that m3g4 are getting a hard time lately, maybe this is the reason??.
im a little curious!!

Proto is no longer in M3G4 becuase he is a liar and a thief... we may be pirates, but we value loyalty and honesty with in our ranks. proto lacks both.

Thief - to steal out right
What we do is extreemly different. after you ship is blow up, you have no right to anything your ship had. It is now ours, so it isn't stealing.
What proto did however is different, he stole a lot from M3G4, I could give you an isk ammount but that is irrelevant, it was a lot, but didn't hinder or put us behind. I could give you countless incidents about proto getting to containers of people who were killed equally by our pilots and he claimed nothen to be there, and to our amazment when he was scanned by 'members' of the corp he had lots of stuff on him. So "LIER" can be added to thief as well.
It's hurt us a little a few people have left our corp as you have seen however most of those people work working for "themself" and we do not encourage this in our corp.
As well proto was told to save up for a battleship, was also told to take rares and sell them, wasn't told to keep the isk but did. So if anyone has this boy in their corp I caution you, be carefull he is manipulative, an ebayer. that should explain it all.

Think maybe proto will be having a hard time in the game now, he doesnt have his corp to fall back on, so he is deff fair game, what a wee shame.
Next time i see him in local, i wont be running:).
I am shocked though i was expecting to get dogs abuse about this post, but you m3g4 guys have been cool:)

Please, save me the semantics of what is or is not theft. At least when you come across a blockade you know you're going to get robbed in one way or another and you can do something to avoid it. Stealing from corpmates weeks of work is definately something else, that element nobody wants.

fortunatly, that degree of 'found fortune' is not only encouraged, but awarded in our corp. It's just something else to do in eve, at such a time when content is failing somewhat. So, I would call that a person who knows easy isk, let you mine, and we'll pick it up for you. Only thing is we'll refine it and pocket the isk... to bad we arn't on your side hehe.

What is wrong with ebay , I encourage all to buy from me.
Many people are not able to play more than 2 hours a day , which really limits them in-game. Mining can pay a little over 1 mil isk per hour (more with better setups which cost more) which means those who have limited play time will take much longer to acquire the better stuff and larger ships.
So selling isk and items through ebay to those who are able to play less is just good business.
Your Mega Afocal Pulse Maser I perfectly strikes Asteroid (Veldspar) [R0ME], wrecking for 798.3 damage.
Your 425mm Railgun I perfectly strikes Guardian Captain, wrecking for 685.9 damage.

i agree with m3g4 on this one! nobody likes someone joining their corp just to steal what you guys have worked hard to steal! errr... "aquire".
why dont you guys waste his ass to? i mean you're already: pirates, neg sec rating, like killing and podding, he stole from you guys. If theres ANYONE on eve you gius should be podding, it's him.

Just to put this in here since we are talking about m3g4, I didn't like the way they didn't reply to my evemail after chatting with smoked for some good cargo expander. I was hoping they would be a really good pirate corp not trying to be like the other.

Smoked, has it hit you yet that this is just a game? Stealing is stealing. If I kill someone on the side of a street and take all of their crap, or if I belong to a company and steal their pencils. Same freaking thing! If I was a pirate I would at least have the guts to let everyone around know that I was a thief and not try to paint a pretty picture of it. Unbelievable...

"Ebayer" does say it all. Watch out for corp mates that sell stuff on ebay. They will sell your hard earned isk on ebay for a few hundred dollars.

Have to agree with the m3g4 guy here lads, this is a pvp game and i like pirate corps, even though they did blow my ship up and had my pod down to 5% hull.
Pirates are really good for the game and never have any of them gave me any crap over local.
May i just add, some1 from m3g4 helped me out with weapons, and what to use with them, his name was lord something, i cant remember.
u guys need to hunt down proto though, make an example of him:)

A decent guy would have left the corp without raiding the hangars. Leaving is fine, posturing is fine, and having stuff stolen from us is Karmic to say the least, but Proto should not be revered as a decent guy. In pirating you are not abusing someones trust. The security ratings are a sure tell that you are in danger. Stealing from a hangar while openly lying about your intentions via voice chat is not only an abuse of trust, but goes outside the bounds of role playing, and into the realm of real life theft. I'm not sure how to justify that statement having all items stil be part of the game, but the dirty feeling it left in all involved went beyond anything felt during gameplay.

I wonder what kind of dirty little feeling that person gets when he is podded by M3G4 while trying to pass through a jump gate? I imagine losing his ship and other valuables which he has spent hours upon hours trying to get is pretty personal to him as well. Once again you guys are trying to pass off pirating as an honorable thing... If the guy stole from you then try and hunt him down and pod him. Otherwise, shut up about it already. Stop your whining, you just got to feel what it is like to be taken by a true pirate. Sounds like he pirated the pirates to me

and alge, i though proto was real nice guy, he could have left M3G4 honestly (i did try and persuade him to stay and work things out) but he lied to me bare faced, while he planned to steal things that belonged to us all (we all spent time collecting ect) and hes a user, your just blind, hes using you right now, youll find out who the real proto is when he gets fed up of your corp, and cleans out your hangers.

Thieves are thieves in my mind. If you camp gates and attack unarmed indy pilots then you are a thief. If you take something out of your corperations hanger and it doesn't belong to you. You are a thief. I love how pirates try and make it sound different. So one of your corperation memebers stole some stuff from you. Get over it as we indy pilots do when we come accross pirates. If you have new coperation memebers and you give them access to all the hangers then its your fault. Don't go crying to the CCP to change it. It just makes you look stupid.

Hanns, in case you missed it, I don't belong to a freaking corp. I don't even know Proto or whoever, that is not my point. He is a thief. Just remember though, your corp is too. Sorry that you spent all of that time knocking off noobs for their stuff and it got stolen from you

Just like to add, i was in aurohunen last nite and guess who is seen, yip proto in a new pirate corp, and can i say i dont like his new pirate mates, they are total prats, i bookmark the aurohunen/korama gate so i warp in some 50 k out, i was picking up some bp in my condor rigged for speed without weapons.
I warp in and his pirate friend was there, i turned on my ab and ran, she was in a battleship and done a little damage even at that distance, i warped to safety.
She was not happy that i had escaped and told me how much of a a coward i was for not coming back and fighting her, im in a kukin condor with no weapons, all a can say is m3g4 plz come back as u guys are at least nice to us and give us a laugh. (while destoying my ships).
Come back m3g4 alls forgiven:).
or u could always blow these guys up. thanks.
( he talked to us in local and denied he stole and he only took what was due to him)

In proto's defense, the other day I was doing some misisons and was traveling through the koroma system when I was met by 2 pirates. Proto and Enella.
I promptly warped away however i had to get to that system and didnt want to go another 17 jumps outa of my way to work around.
After explaining I was a noob (flying my new merlin and had no money left to arm it lol) and only had the delivery goods. they said I could leave freely. Of course I knew when i arrived they would blast me. However I decided to be trusting because that is my own nature.
Anyway So I arrive and of course I am taken down in about 5 seconds (maybe less) and instantly poded.
I was pretty mad, the podding wasnt nescassary but hey pirates need to have a big corpse collection right? Oh yah back to him being decent. About 2 minutes late I had recieved 2 donations for 150k each from each of the pirates saying thanks for trusting a pirate.
All in all I came out on top and have a great story to tell! Im sure I will lose more than 300k to pirates in the future but for the time Pirates have been a blessing =)

of course there is a difference between stealing, acquiring or whatever you wanna call it from other corps or corpmates, I mean if you are in a corp you HAVE to dedicate, yourself to it, otherwise you should be a freelancer, stealing lying or cheating from corpmates is just a shame and has nothing to do with being a pirate

Not like your Tank CEO and Number One who happen to be running around 1.0 systems (hell.. everyone lets go and visit them in Amarr) killing bestowers and noobs.
I have to say
Mega is such a powerfull corp, and them hunting in 1.0 systems abusing bugs surely makes me look up to them

Hopefully something will be done to stop the killing in a 1.0 system, it shouldn't be announced, concord should just turn up with a dozen battleships and kill the people doing it... then they should actively hunt and kill them whenever they leave a space station in anything above a .4 system, they should also pod them every time.....

killing in 1.0 systems is just an exploit that they like to use while they can..i dont know if they will get banned for it but then again i dont care.But u have to understand..give m3g4 a break man..they cant really handle much else then noobs in 1.0 systems..lots of ibis to kill =)

Reality check #1  More often than not, those that gain power from griefing nOObs are vapid, pimply runts who don't have any power in RL.
Reality check #2 Learn how to play the game and get some stones! Ain't nothing better'n griefing your enemies, especially if they are pirates, which all mine are.
I do like pirate corps tho, hell, they help make the game fun. Keep training the skills boys and I'll see you in space.

Earlier I saw a m3g4 guy tolling a gate driven out by a rag tag group of 5 ppl who just happened to be in the same system and got together to run him.
ppl will rally round, it just takes someone to initiate it.
Incidently, the m3g4 chap took it very well and congratulated them.

Man, this thread just reminds me why I hate dealing with 50% of EVE players. You all **** about m3g4 being theives and podding your butts, but you guys never do anything about it - you just sit and mine. Meanwhile, corps like mine actively put up fights but we LOVE corps like m3g4 - they're our challenge. We play to beat them. Join us as good guys and try to beat them too instead of complaining.
As for proto, sorry m3g4. I've had experience with players like him and I have to say, it really does hurt when someone you know violates your trust.

A rag tag group of ppl???.
Everyone is as cabable of driving a blockade off. 5 decent ships will give any pirate campers a hard time, if ppl had a bit more belief in themselves pirates would be getting a harder time than they are the now. lets be honest the majority of pirates cant hit ****.:).
We are going to look for pirate campers tonite, so i will prob die, but its all good fun:).

Stratton - Aye it was a fun time. Got 150k from bounties and a rat spawn dropped an alpha hull mod cargo expander in 20 minutes before ya routed me out. I didn't mind it I mean at least they did something instead of whining about it. We will meet again, and you'll still have that bookmark, sigh, Cro out!

Maybe 'rag tag' was the wrong phrase. I mearly meant that these chaps appeared to me to be individuals who rallied together spontaneously to fight a cause. (of course I may be wrong, but I don't think any of them where in the same corp at all)
ppl should do this more often. when your alone and come across a toll pirate such as Cro and thinking 'how can I get past him without paying, being on my lonesome an all', consider that the 5 other ppl in local are all probably thinking the same thing as you. As individuals, unless you have prepared for it, you probably don't have much chance. Band together and the odds can suddenly be in your favour.
I have nothing against the pirates at all whether they be lone individuals stealing from cans or big powerful pirate corps slaugtering for no reason. Even if you argue that these aren't pirates but murderers as they kill for no reason, so what, then they are a band of murderers slaugtering for no reason.
They add much needed spice to the game.
(I do think, however, that carrying out murderous activities in 1.0 sec systems is plain griefing and is not acceptable)
