I currently have a lvl4 agent in a 0.6 system with around 50k lp, but all the offers i get are for implants, most of them are useless (such as 4 +2 Char implants), some times he does offer a useful implant, but the problem is that i dont want implants. They are a temporary thing for me since im doing pvp when im not doing missions. And i dont want to waste the effort of the 50+ missions on some 10mill implants. Its a rarity if i actually get offered something else than implants from him. Strangely i once had and agent that mostly gave me frigs as a bonus reward for finishing a mission. I would jut like to know if anyone else have these sorts of experiences with unbalanced agent offers. "Since when have you been afraid of a little insanity? Since, when have we even been sane?" |

All the faction module offers were supposedly taken out with the last big patch. So, implants and faction ships are about the only worthwhile offers left in the offers table and certainly so at the 20k LP+ level.

LOL so what is the point in mining an Agent if they don't give out ships offer anymore then?

I was more looking for a basic BS... Well Implant are to only real options left...

Basic ship offers are probably still in the offer data base, since I have been offered Tech 2 frigates.
My recollection is that Tier 2 BS's (e.g., Raven) are offered at ~50-55k LP.

Faction ships have two types of offers:
a) High ISK price, low LPs.
b) High LPs, low ISK.
You can sell them on escrow for a ton, you know. For example, at 600k LPs, you can get a navy battleship (with a level 4 agent) worth well over a billion. - Proud member of the [23].

Or just take the implant offers and sell them. 4x +3 willpower which cost somewhere around 50k lp will net you almost 200m for example.

oh and what everyone has failed to mention, is that if you get an agent in low sec space, then you get loads more LP. for angel extravaganza mission on lvl 4 agent i get 9,000 LP. so 5 missions gets me 4xImplant offer. i've now got 4xBSs and 1 billion in the bank, and i'm solo saving for a dreadnought just by doing agent missions. should only take another month or two.

so question why were faction weapons taken out of the LP offers - are they able to be acquired elsewhere seems a bit harsh for mission runners.

This is was the dev said about that. I can not say I agree with him. Specialy since it's all but impossible to get said modules now.

Originally by: Calio Zrakor, Can you please explain the justification for removing the faction module BPC's from the LP offer table. It killed the LP offer system and reduced it to just another cash grind (implants to sell for cash once you get your ship). If there was some justification for this move, it sure would make a lot of disappointed people like myself feel a bit better know what it was. Because, right now it just seems like a random fix, that bears a strange similarity to the way my dog has been 'fixed.'
There was a general consensus in game design that generic missions (non-storyline and non-COSMOS) shouldn't be dishing out everything you'd ever want through the LP system. So we decided to cut back on the modules.
