KIA is taking a very small break from the Mercenary Profession to follow up on a small personal matter.
As of 19/10/05, KIA will be at war with the PA Alliance. This war will continue until we are satisfied that a sufficient financial penalty has been imposed upon the Alliances members.
At this point we do not wish to discuss the reasons behind our decision, needles to say we are not being paid at all. This is purely a personal matter.
KIA are back, in force and hungry as fk. Just a couple of loose ends to clear up.
Safe flight PA, until we meet of course.

Good luck KIA.
There a chance you would shed some light on the reason? I mean, punitive action doesn't really work unless the victim knows why it is happening.

Seems strange to post on the forums that you have dec'ed PA but not give the reason.
I mean if you want to dec Pa, go for it, but if you want to post about give us the full story.

Will post reason here, simply because my game is unplayable due to Convo Windows opening up. ;)
During our PA contract, we endured the most disgusting smack, that we have sen in this game, from a few PA pilots.
As such we threatened to leave them at -10. They made a public apology for the few members actions, and as such, we honourably set them to neutral.
About a week later, I passed a Rom Renegades Ishtar, in my 1 Bill Diemos. I left him, as my standings instructed me to do so, and passed on my way.
On my travels back, i arrived at a gate, saw the 2 PA pilots (reason 2). They destroyed my Diemos, and were openly pirating in Tannolen.
I requested from the PA leadership, the return of my goods, to be met by a stone wall, probably due to the money involved, and excuses that "we didnt know that you had us set to neutral", "your guys shot one of our guys last week" etc etc, and despite my logical reasoning, that ok, a mistake was made, so hand back my loot, and we will walk away, with communication restored,a nd relationships returned to neutral. Refusal was their only answer, money their only driver.
I warned them (Reason 2), they would pay for it, and thus, their entire alliance will.
We will be imposing 2 Billion isk losses to the PA. In whatever form we see fit to do so. And a BS is only 20 millions worth of losses, (market vs plat insurance) so this will not be a short term project. KIAs dread fleet may even get a testing.
"Reason 1", has nothing to do with it. A lost ship during contract times, is nothing more than that. I have no residual feelings towards that.
A disgusting piratic action by supposed neutral set corps, treated with total honour, for money only, is enough to create war.
The PA frought with men of respect and honesty, is long dead, whats left behind is this poor reflection of what once was.
KIA is back to full active status, and we have never been this hungry for blood.

Actually it's been an age since we've all had as much fun as we've had in these past couple of days, with the soon to be active Kia war and the ongoing 5 war it's brought the northern alliances closer together than they have been for a long time, we all have a common aim now. War has a habit of bringing people together  |
