I have been thinking would it not be cool if you could see Santa claus flying around in a few systems during Christmas ??? reindeer and sledge ... would be a cool feature for the christmas :-)

xmas is canceled, the lead dear was shot and the rest are in mourning (santa was heard mumbling about the easterbunny doing it as they took him away in a straitjacket).

Chrismass is canned, they found the body.
Seroiusly tho I found nothing more anti imersive than christmass trees in the undeadcity in WoW.

It would be cool if we could log in sometime befor the end of the year without persistent CTD's.
Anyway, not all EvE's players are christian!

If my shield hardener graphic effects change to a big red heart around valentine's day, I'm going to blow a gasket. If I have to give elves wierd crap to get santa to talk to me, in a totally lagged out system, I'll *****. I could go for a gold watch in my hangar, though.

Yup, we did, and thats about as far as we should go imho. In fact, maybe this year have some palm trees and beaches for some of the southern hemisphere guys?

ATTENTION CCP:
We want Santa this year.
Here is my suggestion:
Have Santa Claws in his bright red Frieghter, and Concord Escort, spawn at various locations, including some 0.0, for as long as he lasts. (although in 0.4 and below, the Concord get no backup). Be sure to have that Frieghter filled with lots of toys for the Good Little Girls and Boys, and big lumps of Zydrine for the Ebil ones.....
P.S., please be sure that his pod will drop a corpse.
(Dont cry Virginia, NPCs exist for this purpose. Just think of all the fun toys you can loot . Good Girl, now make sure your clone is up to date and go play....)

I haven't experienced any CTDs so far in the last months.
Playing on a daily basis though.

I'm playing WoW as well as Eve (and no, I'm not 14) and I must say in WoW I am curently being reminded of a trip with my sister's kid to Disneyland - pumpkins everywhere in the towns and lots of other halloween themed stuff. Cute, but bloody awful.
Just say "no" to holiday themed Easter Eggs (pun intended).

It wasn't two days ago we were discussing this happening in EnB in the Minmatar channel.
But that was EnB. This is EVE.
If CCP wants to give us a merry christmas with toys, lets see some crazy every-dev-and-AURORA-in-character events with wild drops.

Yay for santa giving out tech II BPCs all round
Stop reminding me of EnB days.
LOL (edit) just thought when this happened in EnB about 200 players would all try and get to him as quickly as poss as you had to talk to him to get your "pressie" imagine doing that in EVE where 16,000 players all ended up in the same sector. LOL cpu would just give up.

I remember EnB christmas and Santa gave me a crappy L6 cats paw or something.. I had been good too. I'll take a t2 bpo for this christmas from EVE santa :P
At least EVE doesnt give us heart shaped shields and pumpkin/eyes launchers with the laughing pumpkins at haloween. While fun for a few minutes it got annoying. I remember collecting like 5 of the things and loading them up on my TE ship.
Although the mass killfests on those days was great fun, lots of good drops too.
