yeah me too.. tried going into "Show Package Contents" as well as whatever App Support locations there are.. nothing :/ Have they issued any sort of ETA?

Is there a Mac equiv to this?.. the file structure is seemingly identical.. but we cant launch via .exe

well THAT was a frickin tease... Opened the app.. and up pops an update (on a Mac btw).. install the update.. and nothing flipping changed.. still just "incompatible protocol"... erggg |

Same here... exact same.. not even seeing the launcher anymore.. goes straight to login, but the "Incompatible (protocol)" message is right there waiting...
I KNOW THIS WORKING FOR OTHERS ON WINDOWS.. my little brother said he had to update the launcher and then no probs at all.. is in there playing now... PLEASE LET THE MAC USERS IN! It doesn't even seem we're having launcher issues.. just login issues |

Thanks Cribba Works 4 me thx Chribba you are my Hero!!! Can someone from CCP confirm this as a fix. No offense, but dl'ing files from other players isn't something I am willing to try. File a bug report /show log as DEV posted. How is this done without being able to start the game? Does CCP consider this launcher update a success since over 38-40K players have got there games running and the conclusion they came up with is "if you didn't get your game running the problem is you not us." Since the lack of DEV suggestions and support has me thinking the quoted text might be their train of thought. If someone is working on it great, if you think all is great in EVE and it is good to go. I have to disagree. Canceled my subs just in case your good to go as is if it changes and I can play again I will reup with you cause it is a great game.
Seriously.. a single location for updates relevant to all OS's individually would likely make everyone stop clawing at the forum walls.
