I too wish to add my thanks.
Too many people have raged at them for what was, at worst an hour of no internet spaceships, forgetting the YEARS that have gone into making this game.
And to those who slander Erotica 1 due to baseless rumours, you should try the service for yourself before you draw a conclusion.
Not that what she does in game has any bearing on this thread, tbh.

Respect to CCP for making a game that's kept me for 9+ years.
But dammit, acknowledgment also that they keep making the same mistakes, over and over and over; my overview settings gone, my in-game browser bookmarks and trusted sites list gone, my windows resized, my modules back to their default positions, the client in full-screen mode. It's just every damn thing I've done to customize the client to the way I want, gone. I'm not QUITTING mad, but I'm pretty damn annoyed. Fixable? Yes. Should I have to? Not at all.

I must say that I love CCP. I have been a long time gamer. (not as long as some of you) but I have been gaming for about 20 years. I have always been a loyal gamer, I found EVE, and haven't looked back. Generally I would play a MMO for a while, then realize that they lacked what I was looking for. The hard work that CCP puts into this great game, that we must all love, is awesome. I love everything about it.
If you don't love the game, why are you still around? There are somehings that I don't like, so I don't do those things. That is the best part of this game. :D |

I am thankful that CCP was able to get things all fixed today. At first, I was only thinking about myself since I had let my skill queue expire. I had like 60 minutes in my day to login and choose some new skills to prepare for Odyssey, but everything worked out.
Upon further reflection, I realized how extremely selfish I was.
Thank you CCP for working around the clock to restore this amazing game for us! I propose CCP take a full day off this weekend to rest. A simple message in the login screen as for the reason I'm sure will do.
Again thanks so much guys for everything you do for us!
