They absolutely shat themselves over burn Jita and rightly so and have done much to put that right. Cost them $4,000,000+ in lost revenue I would imagine. But they often implement things poorly and only get it kinda right after many iterations. EG Inventory, UI, PvE. UI and PvE should be completely scrapped and built from the ground up. They haven't started on the big thing: the fact that WE ALL HATE structure bashing Take too long to fix bugs that really are a drag. The titan jump bug still isn't fixed. It took them a year to fix the other huge bug that meant your overview didn't load upon jumping (can't remember the exact details of it but it spoilt my gameplay for a whole year) But gotta give them a bit of slack. Sandboxes are hard to get right.

I love when ISDs interject humor and their personality when closing a thread. I don't get the sense of power-tripping like I have in other forums (usually). I also appreciate the passion of DEVs and CCP staff for the game (and the fact some interact with the player base). I don't know what goes on beyond closed doors in Iceland (and don't wanna know for the most part), but unlike with many games, I feel those responsible for EVE care about the players, not just about the bottom line. It could all be an intergalactic scam, but even so, I have to love them for pulling it off so well. Thanks CCP. :) Oh, and thanks for drawing in upstanding citizens like Erotica 1.

The single-shard Universe , player driven Sandbox ... a willingness to take risks and push the boundaries of play rather than be timid and only release what is perfect fail proof and limited. I am happy to take some down time in return for stretching the limits in ways that are prone to take some shaking out when actually implemented outside the test server loads and unintended play patterns the canny players will engage in. iterating on what is great, (and a multi year follow through commitment that's brought me back after two years and I can appreciate all the changes as I play) SANDBOX, player freedom.... ... a last bastion place in the world that the tussle between people engaged in hijinx and posturing isn't called "bullying" ....... a place that attracts huge percentages of players that are older than 25 years old and those in their late 30,s and 40s and 50s aren't some token anomaly Can't list everything that it great about the game, But thanks for putting you all in it and thank you to upper managment to allow developers to focus on polishing the game constantly instead of wandering off to new things and leaving old stuff that started pretty good, never getting polished or growing to full potentials....
