For all that is good in this game, get the changes on to a server ASAP where the community can test it extensively, and gives you some leadtime if changes are warranted.
That last part about changes assume 2 things:
1. IF the community recommends changes that make sense.
2. That you actually LISTEN to the community, which is not exactly a strong point on your resume.
The same thing goes for ANY major changes you have in mind. ie. Hybrid buffs.
In this new era of CCP supposedly listening to the community, it is insanity to not give the community ample time to test and comment on any proposed changes.
I remember in Apochrypha, my crew was in wh's on Sisi a full 5 weeks before it went live, watching almost daily tweaks to the mechanics. Who knows how many wh POS's we watched evaporate as CCP updated Sisi. And we loved it, because it was a good thing that CCP was tweaking like mad, trying to find the right balance.
Please, please, please.
Do the same thing here before the winter release. |

- It goes to Tranquillity unchanged
- 2 months pass until the first bug fixes
- 6 months pass until a few changes from feedback gets added
- Nothing will happen afterwards until ever

Fairly sure they do that...... I'm in school and my project requires us to follow basically the same thing.
Testing Phase(internal Only) > Find Bugs fix them > Testing Internal > No bugs found? > Testing Phase Public (External aka Sisi) > Find Bugs get reports fix them > Testing External > Everything good? > TQ
Got to let them find known/easy bug first before they release it to Sisi. I mean didn't they just release that dev blog so give them some time to get it all setup not like it's going to be there in a snap. It will come..... Don't want to just push something to sisi that is half coded.

can't really be tested on sisi given the biggest issue is the reaction of people about doing the job of plating CO, and how many will be destroyed. obviously sisi won't give answers on that. |

There are so many things wrong with how the changes have been proposed for low sec I DO NOT want to see them on SiSi any time soon until the devs respond to the hundreds of posts on the feedback thread.
Sadly, I expect we'll see them there soon, as described, there will be hundreds of posts about how bad the changes are then as suggested by another poster they will be deployed unchanged.
I can no longer control my inner cynic! Curse you CCP!
I wish other game companies would pay attention, look at this huge player base that will put up with anything for a FiS game!!!

The changes seem to be interesting and offer new business opportunities and models.
Most importantly the changes are same for everyone. Adaptation module on and towards the new challenges with open mind.

CCP's deployment path is a little different from what the rest of the world does.
Their track record for fixing well documented and repeatable bugs before going live isn't what you might think it would be. |

Yeah, highly unlikely that CCP will release this for testing for anytime soon, if at all.
But I have to put it out there publicly to see if CCP is listening...oh wait...they just wiped out the people that do that kind of thing. Silly me. |

chances are this will be another expansion that is broken up into little features released every few weeks, this means PI can come out sometime in march. |
