In addition to this, it caused a lot of problems for the Linux community. I'd rather see CCP work on improving the game or fixing their launcher. Just get a proper audio player with an overlay and play your music there.

The only comment I wish to make is about how lazy you are for not realizing you can just make a playlist in Windows Media Player, and play/pause/skip with the pre-set buttons on your Logitech G keyboard. Plus, it has that wicked cool lcd screen you can tweak so that is shows you what song is playing. "you can identify eve players by looking at their cars. I signed the petition and linked that thread as people asked about it in help. The music of Eve is absolutely beautiful when rendered by a traditional orchestra with good arrangement. The...midi-versions that shipped with the game never moved me. Not that it was bad music, but that it was a mediocre presentation of the music. Now, if they did some more modern game things like interweaving different strands and going up and down tempo depending on what's happening in game...yeah, yeah, I might want that. Just a straight playlist of the tracks, though, not interested.

To carve a successful niche for yourself in EVE you need to be able to out sell, out produce, out fight,-á out run, or out wit your competitors. If you can do none of the above, your only option is to complain on the forums that somehow you are at a disadvantage using the exact same tool set-áas the rest of the player base.

After asking for about 30 times on the forums I have got no reply that lets me use and enjoy the game like I have done for 4 years. - I want to listen to the music. - I play 4-6 clients so I must be able to selectively turn off all clients but one and have such choice saved for next restarts. Of course turning the music volume slider (a global setting shared by all the clients) to zero will make all the clients muted the next time I restart them and make the next point impossible and even ignoring that point, just restarting the client and fiddle with volume on 4-6 clients every time is super annoying. - I want to listen to the log in screen music when each client starts, assuming CCP won't remove it. They are masters at removing functioning features and (some times) replace them with broken crap. I have perfectly done the above for years and years, how do I do that now?
