While on a routine patrol in the Fountain region a Dark Synergy's Armageddon was discovered illegally parked in a tow away zone outside their POS.
While in the process of towing the scofflaw away the Armageddon was destroyed (What do you call destroying your own ship? Friendly fire?).
Parking violations will be strictly enforced in the Fountain region.
SCC paid for the trip with a nice fat insurance check.

i no what happened ;p an arma was outside the field and he boarded it, the pos blew it up and he got the base insurance. what i dont get is y post it?

Recently, I boarded a stray shuttle outside a station in empire and self destructed. I got a fat insurance pay out too. 2000 isk or so. \o/

and to the hipocrites in this thread, would you say no to 28mill for free?
i wouldnt so good for him and bad for the guys who dont know where to park their ships properly.

Wow, you think this is uncommon? I don't know how many battleships we "towed" away in geminate when I was there with my old corp, and most of them weren't even at a pos. It just shows that some people are stupid and get what they deserve, however, it's not really an achivement on the part of the lucky git who find them (even though yours was destroyed which really isn't that lucky for you at all). Concider it the same as officer spawns, there's always a small chance you can find them when flying around randomly.
