Personally some of the nicest and most helpful dudes I've ever met in this game or on these forums are Goons. Also, obligatory: grr goons!

Actually I believe I'm what you fine folks call a "highsec pubbie". Just reading through the forums and I noticed an extraordinary amount of helpful and knowledgeable goon posts. I wouldn't trust you with so much as 50 isk in game, but as contributing members of the community you guys are pretty great.

Carebears whine about goons all day long, I just thought it might be nice if they could explore the other side of that coin and realize that goons might play the villain, but if you take a step back you begin to see that as a whole they have been nothing but great for Eve.

My only wish is that your wise words had reached me before I tried 3 times to get recruited. It's ok though. A really nice goon in C+P has promised to investigate these oversights for a mere 500m, so everything should be righted shortly.
