Lava could freely travel with a haulerfleet through Geminate.
Mc letted them pass freely.
Lava intention was to set up several POS.
Mc cleared the area first.
Their connection; employer / laborour?

Looking at 4S killboard, Lacuna appear to have lost a few T2 indies in that area today... nothing particularly exciting looking in the killmails as far as loot goes tho but still, if MC were really paid to clear up the area before Lacuna moved in, they didn't do a very good job so perhaps that's not the case.

That isn't a response to what I typed.
Yes I freely admit (despite the fact that I don't rate MC at all) they are killing a lot up there, their killboard shows BS killed/lost quite clearly at the top of the page (although HACs killed/lost may not make them looks as good on certain days) but i said "if MC were really paid to clear up the area before Lacuna moved in, they didn't do a very good job". If that isn't/was't their job then whether they live up to their contract is yet to be seen.

MC was hired to kill the existing visiting guests of Geminate, i.e. My corp, Foundation, NSCE, OZM, and Coalition of Empires. The MC war agaist COE ended days ago, and rumor has it their contract has ended, and they are departing. Their job was not to kill Lauva, or whoever you are, it was aimed primarily to COE, and a few other people.

MC combat tactics obviously dictate the fact they get a largely superior BS kill/loss ratio whilst the HAC equivilant figure is not always as impressive. It goes without saying why this is true.
Cant say Im surprised though to see the amount of damage they've been wreaking.

My best guess is that -5- hired mc/battle angles, and crule intentions just joined in on the fun.
Taking into account that -5- have decided a change of direction and at the same time the contracts of mc have expired and have pulled out of gemni.
I'm guessing -5- orginal goal was to control 0.0 and get lots of "passport" payments and mineral tax from the conqurable stations. They would have continued to be successfull if they maintained a reasonable size area. But once you are attacking 1/3 of the map I think people just got tired of one set of people gaining at the expense of everyone else.

I'm so glad this contract is over. 0.0 sucks. The roads aren't paved, the stores have crap for shopping and there's this 'stuff' all over the outside of my Mega that I've got to wash off now!
