I have been flying a Rupture for a some time now and while I found its appearance somewhat lacking, at some point I noticed how it kinda looked like only one half of a much better looking ship. So I went and took my novice Paintshop skills and created that ship by taking two Ruptures, welding them together at their respective tops and laying them on what used to be the ruptures flank. The result is a flying wing style ship that looks pretty nice ihmo (would prolly look even nicer if created by someone who knows what hes doing with graphics/3Dmodeling software). Wouldn't a design like that make a good model for the proposed new Minmatar Battlecruiser?
Here are the pictures of my atempts, pardon the crappy quality of the work but like I said I am a total novice with these programs...

I might actually train minmatar if they had a ship like that...but i think it looks to good for them. I cant see ducktape anywhere

That is a bit more intimidating than our Sailboat, Oscar's Space Ship, the BattleHammer... etc.
Don't get me wrong though, across my two accounts I haven't made a single non-Matari character, because of their backstory and ship designs. And tattoos on hot &| scary chicks.

Hmm, that just gives you a common spaceship with wings.
I like the fact that spaceships in EvE do not as a rule conform to steriotypes.
Back in the days before my first BS, my first tech II ship and so on I used the rupture alot.
Wheter or not I agree it is lacking in some game balance position I will leave out of this however I dont really think the welded together ship looks better, infact I like the common rupture more.
I just wish the devs would release one with sails and all, I just like a large bunch of others would pay ALOT of isk to have a rupture with masts, sails and so on, yes it may look a tad silly to others but I would love it.
On a side note, I sugest you edit your post and link to the pictures, as soon as a mod spots this thread they will block them and it would be ashame if others didnt get to see what you have welded together :)
