Trying to find information about setting up a corporation in regards to choosing a station. I know we should choose a station in which we work out of on a regular basis. But do different stations provide different benefits to a corporation?

Some stations have different facilities. You ideally want to get a station that had medical, repair, a factory and a reprocessing plant in it, or very very close to it. It might also be worthwhile trying to get a station with a good range of agents for your members.

As KIATolan stated you want it to be close to where your agents work, you also want to be sure the station has 50% refine abilities instead of 30%. Depending on your industrial capacity, you may want to get a station with labslots as well (For BP research and copying)
Remember the toes you step on today are still connected to the arse you may have to kiss tomorrow.

The benefits will be reflected in the services offered and in the reprocessing %. The main thing to keep in mind is that just because you have your HQ in one station, does not mean you cannot rent office space in other locations. You may find yourself wandering farther and farther from "home". Just rent more office space along the way . . .

Dont just take into account the one station.
Check the whole system. Dependant on what you want to do with your corp decide if you need factory slots and research labs. Dont forget your miners. Make sure there plenty of belts, with a good amount of ore.
This type of system is a good starting point.
If you hant been in another corporation try one out with an alt, see how they do it.

put your HQ in a FAR place away from where you do buisness.
