I had a question for Eve staff or those who plan on getting reimbursed for no E-On magazine showing up at their doorstep. How do I go about getting my money back? I plan on waiting til Saturday before I make the conscience effort to do so, but I have a feeling no Eve magazine will be showing up on my doorstep anytime soon, no matter what the Dev team or forum mods say. Has anyone tried to get another copy sent to them instead of reimbursement? Has this worked? Do you plan on getting reimbursed?

I have no idea, but I'll link this to kieron. Not sure when he's at a computer next, since he's still in Iceland and I have no idea when he's going home. If he stays there at least one more day he should get it soon, otherwise he might not get it until he gets home.

I once subscribed to a magazine from the US (living in EU), was a monthly magazine a. At several times I ended up getting month 2 issue before I got month 1 issue because of random delays at the post office...

I would so wish it were the postal service, but it's really looking like the postal service isn't the culprit.
I pre-ordered mine on the 29th sept., payment was accepted and I received the confirmation e-mail. However, I still have no magazine.
All non-UK orders were sent from Z³rich, Switzerland - and I live in Geneva, also Switzerland. To put things in perspective ; some people in Brazil and Australia have already received it. Other people have ordered after it shipped, and received it.
Domestic Priority Mail in Switzerland is delivered the next day, or the day after in a worst-case scenario. And I'm not the only swiss who (pre-)ordered it and hasnt received anything.
I keep thinking "it'll turn up tomorrow", but after three weeks of wishing, I'm starting to become a bit pessimistic

My guess is that you have been scammed by the US parcel service, they probibly opened the mail thinkin' there was anthrax in it and decided to keep it as its sooooo goood... j/k
just kidding by the way, i know the US have insane homeland security since 9/11 so mabye that has something to do with it, my copy arrived a couple of days after the official launch, thats Royal Mail though.
Hope you get it soon(tm) it is an awesome mag. (appologies for the ranting im a bit squiffy.

Why is it those who preordered are getting the huge delay? I preordered on August 23rd. Still no magazine. Yet many people have stated they ordered after release and recieved the magazine very promptly. Perhaps the distributer lost the preorder list? Or simply decided to ignore it. Regardless, CCP needs to take a tack of solving the problem for those in waiting and not telling us to be patient.
To be honest CCP should be sending new copies of E-on via express guaranteed shipping (ups or ::sigh:: fedex) to anyone who hasn't recieved a copy by now. That might cost them, and might mean handing out double issues to people, but it would certainly go a long way to making things right with the customers who have been patient with nothing to show for it. And if it is a minority like they claim then it wouldn't really cost them much.
In any event, I'd like a number to call CCP. Let me talk to a person who can tell me what is being done to get the merchandise I paid for to me and not recieve some automated message, or bulk email dispatch. As it stands, I will never order a product from thier online store (and yes there are a few I did want to get), who would trust CCP on delivering anything at this point. Besides, when one guy took a vacation the whole store was closed?!? And unless this magazine is above and beyond amazing, I will not order the second copy. Which is probably the basis for the freebie item to be included in the second issue. A bit of bait, to lure us into trusting they'll take our money and give use something this time, but honestly, how far will that go? What good is a freebie item if you never get it? Or get it inexcusably late? I preordered, I paid my money to be on the head of the list. I wanted to be enjoying my magazine right away, because I bought the line, the concept, the sell. They got me wanting the damn thing and then decided to dangle it infront of me like a carrot for 3 weeks. Gee that wouldn't make someone upset, nooooo.
On the idea side, why not simply make a eve-on website that cost an extra 2-4 bucks a month to belong to on top of your monthly subscription. Then there is no distribution to worry about and they still get paid for the act of putting together articles, splash pages, art, and all the other magazine things they do. They could do both of course, but at least one option would be a little more reliable. Make it printable, then I have to come up with a printer and photo paper and can make my own magazine if I chose. Bah website would probably be down constantly anyway.
C'mon CCP, y'know I love the game (woulda went to fanfest if I'd had the time and cash), but this delay and the handling of it from a logistics and customer service stand point outright stinks.

Now, first off, I think CCP has done and is continuing to do a great job with a great game. That being said, I am certainly disappointed with the quality of service with respect to this magazine. When I order something, I expect it to be delivered in a timely manner (and for that matter, I expect it to be actually be delivered). The 1st issue is now going on 3 weeks late. I am starting to wonder if I will receive what I purchased at all. It's not a huge parcel, nor should it be packed in an unorthodox container. One would think that it would be pretty straightforward for a publishing house (whichever one CCP used) to ship a product such as this successfully and with minimal incident. I am glad to hear that CCP is pursuing alternative measures for future issues.
At what point are we supposed to accept the fact that the product is not going to arrive and start pursuing refunds?

Yeah not meaning to **** anyone else off more, but I live in South Korea and got mine like 2 weeks ago around the 12th-13th of october. Honestly if it wasn't here by now, i would have called visa and disputed the charges honestly. Nothing would make action quicker than loosing money one would hope.

Depending on how CCP shipped it, they ought to be able to track it... A major shipment probably got stuck in customs or some crap. -==- Holy-Jim> as you know, surprise is the key to victory.....surprise! LooseCannoN> ahh! LooseCannoN> my plans have been foiled! |

So true.
International packages tend to show up whenever they're good and ready. I know this from bitter experience.
Chances are that your mag is being rerouted through Canada a couple of times, for good effect.

I will look into the situation with the non-delivery of E-ON that seems to be plaguing this issue. However, I would like to state for the record that the publishers actually ship the magazine, we provide the storefront and billing location. When we receive an order, we immediately send the publisher the new information.
The EVE Store itself, well that is run 100% in-house at the moment. Orders are generally sent within 48 hours of confirmation of payment, Monday through Friday. Any inquiries or issues with the EVE Store may be sent to [email protected].

Feel free to give us the publishers Email, address and phone number. I'm sure you can turn away the torches and pitch forks at your door if we knew the correct people to harrass. The Eve store ignoring the customers just isn't cutting it...
You will see people never order again. When the next one rolls around and E:ON becomes the latest EVE soonÖ joke. "Don't order E:ON" Magazine cuz it won't be "ON-time," look at fist issue..."
