Ushra'khan statement found distibuted by leaflet in Empire stations on the borders of Providence
Last night Ushra'Khan forces engaged several installations owned by the Huzzah Federation located in the Providence region. The attacks also resulted in the destruction of several Huzzah ships, and the execution of one pod pilot. Our reasons for these attacks are as follows:
- The Huzzah Federation has for some time worked closely with the CVA on military operations, resulting in Ushra'Khan ships coming under Huzzah fire. For example, the Huzzah Federation recently aided the CVA in the defense of a Revelation dreadnought owned by the Imperial Dreams corporation. - Huzzah Federation members have also attacked Ushra'Khan ships on operations in which there was no CVA involvement. - Furthermore, the Huzzah Federation has provided a safe habour for many known slavers, such as the notorious pod pilots Garreck and Russo. - The CVA have also been known to provide protection for Huzzah forces.
These activities clearly show that the Huzzah Federation and the CVA are providing strong support each other. By supporting the CVA and habouring known slavers the Huzzah Federation is supporting slavery. The Ushra'khan cannot allow this relationship to go un-punished, Providence will burn.

Angry Dan, I would check those facts with your pilots. Huzzah pilots have initiated fire on U'K forces in the r3-k area many times without any CVA presence. This action is a direct result of those attacks. |

Ushra'khan has committed no piracy in Providence ever. Whilst hunting down slavers we have come under fire from Huzzah patrols and were told that U'K was to be killed on sight. We have long memories and know exactly what happened. You happily aligned yourself with the slavers and now you will pay the price.
Interesting that you make repeated accusations of us working with the pirates in the neighbourhood. I think you have spent too much time alone out in Providence and are becoming a little paranoid. Ushra'khan is an anti-pirate corporation as the residents of Amamake and Molden Heath will testify.

Edited by: Maggot on 26/10/2005 10:56:55 The exact date and time for this attack were planned long before your war with your local pirates was announced on galnet.
Would you like us to be gentle with you?

Edited by: Maggot on 26/10/2005 12:55:08 Shipping carrying slaves will be shot down no matter who is the carrier, private corporation or state owned.
If you truely do not support slavery then I look forward to a visit from your diplomats to discuss the mattter. In the meantime you will be treated in the same way that our innocent pilots have been treated by the Huzzah Federation, with contempt.

Quote: Then what are Ushra'Khan doing shooting at and being shot at by POS and Huzzah members in our 0.0 space, that's really hurting CVA isn't it.
I refer you to the very first announcement made. Your ships fly on joint operations and protect CVA assests, the most recent objectionable incident being the trap that was set by IG and Huzzah pilots using a Revelation Dreadnaught. I told your pilots at the time they would pay and at the time they seemed to welcome the prospect.

Whilst you defend CVA you defend slavery. The story is that simple. Are there not other allies you can turn to to assist you with your local problems?
The Ushra'khan is not bloody minded, we can understand that mistakes are made whilst under the stress that local pirates might cause. Many of us might, in desperation, seek out unsavoury characters for help when none is coming from elsewhere.
You have the chance to make the galaxy a better place. Turn your back on the CVA and make a stand for humanity.
Although you make these slurs against my Brothers and Sisters regarding an unholy alliance with TSBS and the Priory, I will forgive you.

It is the mutual hostiles aspect that has has brought us all into this situation. If you had stuck to pirates we would not be here now.
My personal view is that if you have to rely on a slaver organisation to keep your cosy little Federation protected then I wish the pirates the best of luck. Conspiritors deserve nothing less than being wiped out. I claim no moral high ground. You should all die.
However the Ushra'khan does not follow this viewpoint and has destroyed many pirates throughout Providence. I would also comment that we have been attacked by TSBS and that the insurance logs you have been perusing are not accurate.

Originally by: Mactire How do you explain the recent Galnet transmission from Cosmic Fusion. They have been contracted by The SUdden Death Squad to attack CVA and the terms of surrender include reperations to Ushra K'han. Is that enough evidence for you?
"Terms of surrender
An end to the aid CVA has been giving Huzzah Federation The removal of your forces from Providence Reparations to Ushra K'han for the losses they have sustained freeing there people. Reperations to Cosmic Fusion for the losses of any ships we may sustain. Apublic Apology for the slavery and atrocities they have commited in the name of the emporer."
Although of course I wish them well in their mission, looking at this list of demands I suspect the contractor has been taking too much Drop and/or must have a very deep pocket. There is of course another alternative

Providence - Huzzah Federation space
The installation in S9X was barely recovering from the previous night's attack, shields were hovering around 75% of normal strength. In the last 24 hours Huzzah Federation engineers had been busy at work upgrading its defences to include a battery of artillery in addition to the more usual laser based defences.
"Open fire"
The shields of the structure slowly began to weaken as the structure owner watched from beneath its protective bubble.
The deep space sensors were reporting a build of up ships in Misaba and there were suggestions of movement to R3-K. Tension began to build, but the fleet concentrated on the task at hand.
The sensor teams reported the steady march of ships down the corridor from R3-K.
"Sir, those shields must be approaching re-inforced mode"
The enemy fleet, a joint force of approximately thirty CVA, Huzzah and Stain Alliance ships, poured into the system whilst the Ushra'khan escort fleet moved to safety.
"Hold Steady"
Seconds ticked away. A shout went up "Re-inforced mode active".
"Drones in"
A little too quickly the Commander warped the battleship fleet away from the Huzzah structure, whose guns were still firing, leaving some precious high tech drones behind.
"Reload and Repair"
Covert pilots from both fleets seemed to be doing their jobs well. Each turn or warp from one fleet was matched by the other.
The Commander made clear his plans. The crews were silent, expecting an ambush at any moment.
A few minutes later the U'K fleet had moved system, and camped the gate entrance gate to Huzzah territory. The allied fleet was effectively blocked out and wisely chose not to follow, and started their retreat to r3k.
The Ushra'khan fleet were exuasted and began to power down their ships one by one. One or two ships remained active, their crews studying the information flows from the deep space sensors.

Logan,
I think you may be partially correct. They are certainly not trading slaves to my knowledge. Although I expect that the pod pilots Russo and Garreck will no doubt have a retinue of slaves in their ships and in their bases. However, attacking anti-slavery forces is clearly indirect assistance.
Lets be clear about this, Huzzah Federation are the aggressor in this conflict, and they have been left unpunished for too long. This week has seen the price that is paid for crossing the Ushra'khan.
Although we have destroyed few vessels and sadly not destroyed a single POS, in the last 5 days effort's we have inflicted severe economic and terriorial damage to Huzzah.
-A number of small and medium sized structures were placed in reinforced mode, some multiple times.
-Certain structures were strengthened substantially in a vain attempt to fend off our fleet.
-A number of the structures attacked were dismantled and system ownership relinquished.
-In total Huzzah occupied space shrunk by 33% as systems were abandoned.
-One corporation (TPU) left Huzzah after two days of attacks on their structures.
Of course not everyrhing went so well. We have lost a single covert ship to Huzzah and on our second day had a scout group wiped out by RAT.
I would like to thank all the warriors and logistics teams who have worked so hard to make this operation such a success.
