Not sure what a good place to put this would be.
I was looking through some of the NPC corporations, and I noticed some info is out of date. Notable, Tibus Heth is listed as a MEMBER of Caldari Constructions, not the CEO of it, and there is no CPD group.
Seems like an oversight, and is a bit strange, since it doesn't quite follow the RP story. |

I think some of the ingame information is more or less hardcoded, and the developers are not very enthusiastic in changing it. It has happened (assumably after Heideran bit the dust, and then with the few changes relatively recently. Finally, Heth is the CEO of Kaalakiota and Caldari Constructions (and Ytiri?), and the game engine doesn't quite support being in several corporations at once.
Technically, CPD (Caldari Providence Directorate) isn't a corporation, but an organization coordinating the resources of different corporations. (With its own security force, though.) During the SuVee event in Yashunen, the CPD members present were ingame members of the Templis Dragonaurs. Admitted, it might have been slightly more subtle to implement CPD ingame and handwave them as a front to the Dragonaurs rather than the other way. |

Wait until you see half the in-game portraits of these fictional characters... a lot of work to be done.

There is an effort in place to clean this stuff up, it'll just take time as in some instances there's quite a few technical things we have to consider.

I think the Gnossis is probably one of the most glaring examples. In the same description it is referred to as a battlecruiser and a cruiser class ship :) |

Salvador Sarpati is supposed to be a Gallente who is the CEO of the Serpentis Corporation which is a former Gallente Research corporation. Ingame hes a Caldari running a Caldari Research corporation. Though with the new portraits hes no longer bald and naked, so theres at least that.

Eve code is a bit like Warhammer 40k Tech, no one is sure how it works or how to build them, they just pray to the Emperor and space hamsters that it keeps working. |
