[1] Official Statement (Seen from the eyes of Everlasting Vendetta): After our 1-week cease-fire was up RUS promptly came down and began stirring up trouble. Unfortunately talks could not work out an acceptable agreement and the fighting has started once again. So far RUS has lost 2 cruisers and a scout frigate and many battleships have been chased off (news a couple hours old as of this writing). We expect them to be back as they are admirable foes and didn't get enough last week  I wish both sides the best of luck and hopefully talks can resolve the matter quickly and once and for all. [3] I hate to sound like a broken record, but I still think this is a good idea:  THUNDERDOME1. Warring parties each form a fleet of their "best of the best" Warriors that would make the ultimate sacrifice for their cause. Each fleet will be equal in size. Composed of 4 battleshps, 8 cruisers, and 10 frigates. 2. Battle Location A nuetral location is selected outside of the Stain region at a moon or planet. Warring parties are given one day to scout location and set up bookmarks for fleet manuvers. A set number of nuetral observers/press may attend in a noob ship at a set bookmark. 3. Battle Conditions No members of either party may leave the vacinity of the battle. Besides that, anything goes . However ALL ships involved must engage in some form. Running is forbidden. Podding is forbidden. All podded players may stay and observe the remaining battle from the same location as the press/observers.4. Battle/Dispute conclusionLast ship functioning decides the victor. Period. Victory is declared by the lead nuetral observer. There are no appeals. Battle reports/screenshots are then filed by observers in a seperate thread. Members of the two warring parties may not post under this thread. 5. Spoils of war The victorious party has all salvage rights to all equipment left on the battle field. All spoils must be claimed within 30 minutes after the conclusion of battle. After completion of THUNDERDOME, RUS corp agrees to not enter the Stain region for a period of one month and a galactic NAP is agreed to by both parties for the same period of time. Might be better for alliance v alliance warfare or corp v corp warfare but for alliance v corp sheer numbers would offset the scale of a fair fight. EDIT: just reread your rules of who can enter. That does make it interesting, but alliances and corporations of large membership work hard for that and they should have advantages that they work for. Plus wars aren't decided in 1 battle. An important part of warfare is your supply lines and how quickly you can replace your losses, 1 battle would deny this part of warfare which is actually a major player... Congrats though to Leshiy for blowing it up with one shot from 40 km range.  Not much happening right now really. But I guess that will change  *edit* And that shield damage on the Screenshot above is from some MASS missiles making splash damage to me  M.I.A. since 2004-07-30 |

What proof more than screenshots do you need??? There are 4 shots showing his Apoc blow up. And we said we believe he got a CTD, as well as our Arma had when Ron1n blew that up some minutes earlier. Or did you want me to prove Leshiy blew up my Ibis? Or what??? No, noone bothered taking screenshots of their 2 cruisers and their frigate. You just have to make a negative post in every thread that contains SA. But you may be happy to hear that we lost a Thorax today. However, he was in empire space, so I don't know if Concord maybe responded with blowing up some RUS ships. M.I.A. since 2004-07-30 |
