I'm afraid I have to agree with Calvert. No one outside RUS knows the goals of the conflict. It could be anything from probing the resistance to the full extermination of SA. Either way, RUS stand to gain nothing if being victors of any Thunderdome event. So why would they even consider it?

I don't care if you lose a thorax or twenty thoraxes. I just think that you can admit that you engage in piracy and not defence.

What I'm curious about is why not more big corporations help RUS out in re-opening the region. It would definately serve their longterm interest. What do they stand to lose, having their infrastructure protected by CONCORD.

Perhaps they are too busy screwing newbies and mine veldspar.

The reason, Skillz, you deluded little spacedog, is that most corporations agree with the ideals of SA.

What ideals? Are you deranged or something?

The only ideal is maximum profit, and all big corporations does not maximize that if they allow you to monopolize access to rich but general areas.

Armistice

After completion of THUNDERDOME, RUS corp agrees to not enter the Stain region for a period of one month and a galactic NAP is agreed to by both parties for the same period of time. Agreement to participate in this challenge of mettle binds both parties to ALL of the conditions listed above.

end of proposal

ok this is why this proposal is a bit silly.... from what i understand, the purpose of RUS complaint against SA is the fact SA claim free space as there own..however, according to you proposal, SA keep there self claimed free space regardless of out come...

would it be presumptuos to assume you have something to do with SA?

I think this war will be long and violent. I doubt either side would have any interest in ending it in this way. However, it would be fun on the test server if they update characters and it could handle the lag.

Talking about lag, all the incidents I have been involved with have been decided by very bad lag. This does not do justice to either side, and I hope things improve. I do not want a victory because I lagged less - and I definatly don't want to lose because of lag.

I "recall" that being done because u didnŠt accept official war at that time, allowing u to attack us while we could only defend, since u mine in Empire space. Only thing we could attack were your cargo containers.

and btw... SA has never had a huge advantage in numbers in a battle with RUS, sometimes we have even had less ships.
We still got work to do despite this war.
