Mr x1	Posted - 2005.10.25 19:24:00 - [1] hello i was in derelik region and then people saying they claim that space ? dont see them on the eve map as owners and isnt it 0.0 that gets owned not empire space

I lust left derelik becruse i joined a new corp... they tried to kill me every time i got on-line.. only lost a megahtron becruse of CTD then i unducked but thats life I think they are trying to keep it pirat free but with no luck but no, i dont belive they claim it....

Trey Azagthoth	Posted - 2005.10.25 20:51:00 - [11] Having spent most of my Eve life in Derelik and knowing The Confederation, I would say claiming the entire region of Derelik is not something The Confederation is capable of at the moment. I would say that if there is anyone who could come close to claiming that region, it would be Nexus Alliance, they have way more PVP capable pilots aswell as a good industry based division. The Confederation is just too much of an industry based alliance to make claims like that. Plus, there is always the pirate infestation that The Confederation would have to compete with, which last time I checked, was pretty strong. Of course, its nothing like Placid/Essence/Everyshore area, but the pirates are definitly there.

It's empire space claimed by the Ammatar Faction. Im afraid you're wrong about the claims. To claim space, you must be able to police that space and keep order. I do not see the Ammatar Navy doing so, I find this to be the problem with many alliances/factions whether they be player or NPC. Derelik is very much "up for grabs" (no pun intended ). The question is, do you have what it takes to make it yours?
