That was me actually. Gave up on it after a while. Playing EQ2 while my char trains up for 3 or 4 months to where I can actually do something more than yet another stupid mission with the same thing. if that wench is in distress one more time im gonna sell her to an Amarrian.

What experience would that be? I ran a bunch of courier missions to get an implant, hoping for intel or perception and got a +1 charisma implant. After sputtering in anger I decide to sell the worthless POS and see that I can only get a couple hundred thou for it!!!!

Why, Newbie COSMOS, ofc
Never heard of it. More missions? More damsels in distress? If so then you can keep them.
Eve is a wicked pvp game but until you have some multi million SP you are screwed. Until then I guess I will just play EQ.

Weren't you the one asking for access to 0.0 to run missions??
Running missions in 0.0 is quite a bit more exciting than doing it in empire. You have the human element danger as well as the mistique of doing it for the pirate organization. Unfortunately those also seemed to be locked up by the supercorps. I tried to get permission from the alliances and supercorps and they ignored me or laughed. I tried to go out there on my own and came back in flaming werckage. It wasnt merely risky, but suicide. Not from the missions but the players.

That tired old yarn again. Get in a group and be the tackler. Use a disposable frig (and your extrmemely cheap clone) and hold that target down! Takes about... 100k SP? Something very much lower than "multi million".
Those "groups" in allances dont want my char. They assume Im someone's alt spy and either ignore me or dont say anything at all. The only people that wanted to employ me were other newbie corps that spend their time in empire mining and doing missions. *gag*
I wanted to play tackler or antifrig for them but ended up simply beign ignored.

First you say missions in 0.0 are more exciting because of the human element, then you complain bitterly that that same human element blew you to smithereens. Bit of an oxymoron.
Risk I like. Suicice I dont like. Ie, the risk of death without accomplishing somehting has to be something less than 100%.
Oh BTW .. contradiction, not oxymoron was the word you were searching for.

Well, you don't have to join an alliance in 0.0 for lots of PVP fun. Look around theres tons of empire wars going on.
Course if you're dead set on 0.0, just keep looking. I'd suggest some corps for you to look into, except I'm reasonably convinced you're the self same alt Derisor mentions starting and therefore I find myself unable to recommend you to any corps.
Do you assume everyone who agrees with him in part is an alt of him? Whatever. As for the wars going on in empire ... *shrug* doenst interest me. Im interested in 0.0, not carebearland.

Originally by: Rufus Roughneck He is an alt, but not Derisors I believe. Seen that sig before, and see the language before as well.
Also, far too 'informed' for a 4 week old newb that doesnt even log on cause he's playing EQ.
Too bad you cant read my posts ive made before and know that I played eve a while before leaving and then comming back. But then you didnt bother to look that up did you?
Believe what you want, I dont care.
I do know the Derisor in real life though if that makes you feel any better. He works in the same office as me. After having seen his account screen, I know who his alts are.

They are Rod Blaine and Mahhy.
If that were true you and he would spell my name correctly, and stop capitalising the damn M
Maybe that is a ploy just to make everyone think you arent his alt? Seriously though ... Im no ones alt.
