Probably gonna need electronics skills to lvl 5, like electronic upgrades maybe... or weapon disruption for the amarr, target painting for the minmatar, etc...

Im hoping each race gets a E-War cruiser. (They could give them a racial bonus to their native enemy (eg Galante get Grav. Jamming bonuses).
I just think the other races need ships designed for E-War, why should Caldari be the only ECM users? Besides they already have the scorp and blackbird.
Give each race a dedicated E-War ship
Probibly wont happen though, but hey..
Skills will probibly be electronic warefare 5, electronics upgrades 5 cruiser 5
But hey this is all specutation, right what do i know

From the fanfest theres 2 more tech2 cruisers for each race
The first is a covert ops variant, using the cov ops cloak + a sprinkling of EW. Its called a recon cruiser. I believe has some sort of bonus to cynosural fields and have heard they can activate them while cloaked, though that seems pointless
The second is a pure EW ship. There was a BB with 7 mids shown but no idea what bonuses it will get. If they are anything like HACs but in the EW department, they are gonna pwn

I really hope that the Recon cruiser requires Covert Ops V if it is going to be that overpowered (cyno field while cloaked). Though I don't quite understand how that works if the field appears around the ship anyway
Of course, I'm drooling over the thought of that t2 blackbird.

t2 celestis with 6 mids and a range bonus ontop of its strength bonus....drool...
something like this I would think for the celestis:
4Highs (3 turrent) 6Mids 5Lows 100m3 drone bay
Hac like resists but no bonus to weapons.

Going with the HAC parallel, the cov cruiser will only need Cov Ops IV, since HACs only need AS IV.
Electronics Upgrades is already used for the Cov Ops ships, so that won't likely be a prereq for the EW cruisers. Probably EW V, and maybe Electronics V.
There's not much point in being cloaked while the Cyno field is on since it makes you invulnerable, but maybe you can activate it while cloaked, but the cloak turns off when you do.

activating a cynosural field makes the ship that activated it completely invulnerable
In fact, it seems to act as if you are cloaked. Nothing can target you, and you cant warp while activating it or even move. This is why it would be pointless to have a bonus to cynosurals, other than a reduction in the time period

Electronic Warfare V for the other one.

That's why you just sit with a smartbomb apoc right beside that HAC. It'll be the easiest HAC kill you will get all day.
Because no one in thier right mind will leave a Dread beside the big sign that says "Kick Me".

Well, there's a Phobos based on the Rax stashed in the data files, and they also made multiple faction variants of some BS. So here's hoping.

Yeah, the Phobos looks sweet. It's a Roden Shipyard red Thorax. Roden Shipyard red is a vivid red, paler than blood-red. It's like a shiny lipstick red sort of thing.
I wonder if they'll use the Obsidian. It's a silvery Moa.
There's also a few Amarr ships that's got potential, mainly Sanctity (Auguror) and Devoter (Maller), which are very silvery or pale gold (not pale yellow or yellow, but GOLD) respectively.
Broadsword is a bit, meh. It's a white-ish Rupture.
On T2 EW cruisers:
I hope they don't use the Clotho, which is basically a black-and-grey Celestis. There's not many Celestis in the old scrap archive.
The scrap Wyvern, i.e. T2 Blackbird, looks pretty decent for being a Caldari ship. It's more or less a desert-camo blackbird.
The Heretic Interdictor (T2 Arbitrator) is also mighty fine. Khanid black arbitrator.
What can I say about the Nomad (T2 Bellicose)? It's not very different... A bit more ductape, perhaps.
---
There's certainly room for the cloakers to come out as Tier 3 hulls from the scrap data, I'd say, and all those Tier 3s look very nice.

I think a Khanid styled Amarrian T2 EW cruiser is a given, though, as the Khanid are sleeping with Caldari, whom are reknowned as being EW... discreet ladies...

Well, if the ingame backstory for the T2 developing corps is followed, it should be, for the EW-cruisers:
-Core Complexions Bellicose - nice shiny white bits like on the Stilleto, lots of mids. Just not a target painting bonus, please! Core Complexions are the only EW related minmatar corp.
-Kaalakiota Blackbird - I say this just because Lai Dai have dominated recent caldari T2, and lets be honest, they suck a bit. A nice camo-with-an-orange bit, might work?
-DuVolle celestis, because the Taranis has more mids than the Ares. That's the only link I can come up with to make the one more EW-like than the other. Really, it should be creodron, but I reckon the cloaker will be theirs. Mottled, maybe even Deimos-coloured.
-Khanid arbitrator, for the midslots. Nice and shiny black.
and for the Covert Cruisers:
-Ishukone Blackbird [bit of an issue with this one's colours, as ishukone was, with the Buzzard, that nice blue-camoed look that we later saw in Ishukone's Eagle and, bizarrely, Lai Dai's Hawk. Ishukones Harpy AF, had the grey-brown mottling that is more of a Lai-Dai skin, when you look at their other efforts - such as the Cerberus. Unfortunately, you can't just swap the Harpy and Hawks' manufacturers in the description, because ishukone are gun based, and the Harpy's the gunboat....] Probably bluecamo, then, but who knows. Ishukone have been the best at cloaking of all corps, so far.
-Viziam arbitrator, as they did the Purifier. Shiny bits.
-A Celestis, but who? Thus far, the most mids have come from Creodron, and a green/white Celesits would be quite cool. They also made the Helios.
-A Thukker bellicose for cloaking? Sneaking around at speed would be their remit, I'd guess. Probably wouldnt look very different from a normal one. ---:::---

I hate khanid innovations T2 ships tbh. Shield-heavy low-power high-cpu missile-toting amarr ships. Abominations and they ... uh ... suck.
I cant help but feel that amarr have been robbed of an AF and a HAC.
Nevertheless, the khanid arbi is the ship i want to own most in the game, and i will even train EW for it (total sp in EW right now = 0). Now that's commitment ;D -------------

How much LPs are needed for a faction cruiser usually? So far I have 30k with my agent. (In case they ever put them in.)

Since I've never seen an Arbitrator, really, I cannot be sure. Those scrapdata are from before Destroyers, although they DO feature two Prophecy hulls and one Brutix hull.

Ah, k. I'm pretty sure I remember "Interdictors" being in the DB and being based off Destroyer hulls, and the two look very similar
