i know astrogeology was a start-only skill when i began playing abou a month ago. Is it on the market now? I'd like to pick it up if it is, its not in the lonetrek region ... has anyone seen it?

After the next patch, it is supposed to be on the market. But don't know that for sure.
But that is what I heard.

I read read it at Evegate.net somewhere that it will be in the next patch along with Research and Metallurgy.

Heard you need Mining lvl 5 and Science lvl 4 to use it, is that right? (can't log on just now)

i saw it on the market just now, costs 420k or something.
nice with +5% bonus to mining output per level :D

Riavayed in Devoid had AstroGeology, Metalurgy and Lab Ops when I checked. They probably just got bought out in Lonetrek.

However - we really appreciate the Astrogeology skill beeing on the market now (and working).
Anyone knows wheter the skill is working properly?

It most definately is.
Note that you will have to relog for more than 2 minutes or refit your laser for a new level of training of the skill to apply.

Anyone else notice that Astrogeology didn't increase anything? I trained it up a few levels and found that I still mine the same amount of ore in 60 seconds...I haven't mined in about a week, but the numbers coming in were the same, and it was still on the 60 second interval.

Quick question for those of you successfully using this skill...
The description says "skill at analysing survey data" - does this mean you have to hava a survey scanner running or just fitted or not at all for this skill to give you the 5% per level mining laser yield bonus?
Just wondering...
