Mythical Myth wrote:While normally I would agree with you 100%. Time has shown that these barbarians can only be taught through force and this sacrifice is the best way to put them in their rightful place so that we can guide them to the light. It saddens me that we must take these steps but it is for the greater good.
If they are barbarians that can only be taught by force as you claim, then you have reduced yourselves to their place. You have turned your back on what the Reclaiming is, and what slavery stands for. You've all entered the path of the Sabik gladly.
You have killed 130 thousand civilians, 130 thousand future members of the amarrian faith. You have brought shame on yourselves and all of us. Sepherim Catillah Praetoria Imperialis Excubitoris Liuteneant Ex-Imperial Navy Imperator Commander |

That is for our supperiors to decide. Right now we have our orders, and those include securing the Bleak Lands and compromised space so they can fall back into imperial hands. We're not the police of the militia. I'm sure my superiors will act in the appropriate way when time comes, as they surely feel the moral repulse these barbaric actions imply. But our duty is above anything else, even if it may come at impressively high prices. Sepherim Catillah Praetoria Imperialis Excubitoris Liuteneant Ex-Imperial Navy Imperator Commander |

Captain Feldman, I'm a Ni-Kunni. There was a time when we were enslaved, and I'm sure that in the centuries that followed there were many problems here and there. And certainly there were surely voices that talked about how we could not be turned and Reclaimed into proper amarrians.
Of course, we did not obtain a Republic of our own, I understand the difference in there.
But the lesson about slavery is perseverance and the long time. It's not done in one generation or a dozen years, it takes much more than that: for the slave, and the slaver. And yet, in the end, it works and people become propper amarrians. You denied them and their childs the chance, and that is against what we should be doing.
