[31] You want us out of empire space so u can do ur thing with no chance of loss... now u want to get into 0.0 space with no chance of loss? Play the game and stop crying... u need some danger or u might as well go buy the sims. Really this is getting ridiculous, 0.0 is supposed to be dangerous! |

[32] "I don't mind being chased out of empire space if I have negative security. *As long* as people with positive security get the same treatment out in serpentis/sansha/etc. space." ... Well, you can't honestly say all the serpentis/sansha/etc pilots who hang around and own the 0.0 space welcome people with positive security with flowers... :s That they're even less effective at their work than Concord, is another story.... |

[33] Soo.. it's not fair that some noob can't hop in a 100k frigate and go happily mine Bist deep in a 0.0, else mean people will shoot at him? Sorry but thats the breaks. This game is allready so pathetically easy to "level" in since it can all be done while logged off - if you don't want to slave away mining scord in a frigate.. just log the toon in to reset training sessions and don't play it for a couple months. Make only enough isk to buy a few skill packs then when you decide to play it.. you will have mining/drone/piloting/refining skills so high that money will come rolling in fast enough to buy a cruiser in 2 days.. then the cruiser will make coin so fast you can upgrade to some nice equipment and make coin even faster. It's all about the skills.. which is all bout TIME. At least in this game you don't even have to play to advance.. just keep paying the subscription and resetting those skill timers. |

That'd be faction rather than sec-status I would have thought Drunken... but on either principle i'd be much happier with it that way also. (Though you guys with negative guristas faction may have to move out of venal rather fast) |

[37] A little hint to all the newbies here. If you want to fly into 0.0 space it isn't like going shopping around the corner. You have to plan careful when you want to minimize the risk of getting caught by pirates. I've been going into 0.0 space everytime I wanted and have neither been shot down in blockades nor sitting in a station for 3 hours/days/whatever (even when I was flying a shuttle ;-) ). It just takes some preparation, like for example looking at the map and avoiding those systems with high ship and pod kills in the last 24 hours, because those are the systems most likely to have a blockade. 0.0 space is SUPPOSED to be dangerous. If it wasn't everyone would mine Arkonor and the prices for it would be the same as for Veldspar (intentionally exagerating so please no market discussion ;-) ). Best for you newbies, that want to get rich a little sooner is, not to mine or work on your own... join a corp. They provide you with cover, skills, better ships... and best of all 'tips and tricks' ;-). That's the best way to come around with a smaller number of clones ;-). Wish you all a lot of fun and see you in space |

[39] Edited by: Sidyous on 14/08/2003 14:03:24 Put it this way you are warned that you enter the areas below 0.5 at your own risk so you enter the system you accept the risks. You don't like the risks avoid the system you can make plenty of cash just mining omber or even pyroxeres in high security systems if you build stuff just put in a buy order for the minerals you don't have. ----------------------------------------------- |

[57] 0.0 is pretty empty and damn boring, if you ask me, use a scout and a little wits and you will be fine, the problem is the choke points, once you get past those, you should be fine. |
