Rhetoric has flowed back and forth over the last couple of weeks as alliances and coalitions deploy towards Delve. "It's an invasion, all hands on deck" say Test*. "Nah nah, we're just playing we're only here for good fights," Elise Randolph assures us as he forms another Talwar fleet.
Matters came to a head this evening as Test spotted NC. SBUs up in A2- the entrance to Querious from Empire, then spotted a large titan and super fleet. It's probable that the supercaps were being used to allow NC. to make rapid progress in Querious where it has already collected a significant number of money moons in the wake of Raiden.'s collapse.
For the first time TEST had no interest in a 1-SMEB brawl. Previously TEST's subcaps, supported by TEST's slowcat carriers had been an approximate even match for combined subcap forces of CFC, PL and NC. This time it was different. It would have been a very bad idea to use the slowcats with all those supers around.
TEST formed bombers and tried to torpedo down the SBU's in SMEB, quickly warping out when challenged. Eventually we got caught and took significant losses from a combination of an expert Pizza bombing run and NC.'s Muninns whereupon we withdrew to the POS and went afk for a bit.
Whether things were due to explode anyway or whether people became furious at being blue-balled large angry T3 cruiser gangs have been rampaging through Delve, with CONDI (Goons) putting up SBUs in NOL.

You should start playing Eve at the moment it's really good fun and Zeroniss seems to be doing well. Also the targets in CFCland, oh my word. We killed a velator full of skill books, a T2-rigged wolf and an Ishkur with no high slot modules fitted this morning 2 jumps out of VFK. |
