Do storyline missions increase in difficulty depending on the level of the agent who recommended you to them? If so, how do they compare with normal missions? For example, if I do manufacturing lvl 3, will any storyline missions I get be the same as lvl 3 combat missions?
The reason I'm asking is that this character has no combat skills, but I'm trying to increase my standings so I can use research agents, and the storyline missions really help with that.

Level 3 normal agents results in level 3 storyline missions yes. I would say most level 3 storyline combat mission are easier than normal level 3 combat but there are expections like Angel Strike.

about those......i use a lvl2/lvl3 caldari navy agent for missions, in jita, and sometimes i get storyline mission offers. BUT they are alsayw offered (well, often) by an agent NOT with the caldari navy...? and so i end up getting high standing with 'Posku Mineral Group' or watever its called...instead of the navy...which is wat i want...to get higher lvl agents. Is this normal, can i control it? are there even navy storyline agents??? -----------------------------------------------

Seems most people that do caldari missions get storyline from that agent in veisto. I do missions for Home Guard and about half of the storyline I get is from the veisto chick and the other half from spacelane patrol. So no you can not controll it.
Storyline missions are mainly to raise faction standing, not corp standing anyway.

I had her yesterday for a level 2 storyline. Can't remmy title - had to travel 5 jumps, kill 3 rats and bring mercs back. Took me longer to travel out there than it did to do the kills. Loot from other 2 rats was rubbish "basic xxx" and I got 70k pay for it.
Very dissapointing

Edited by: Titus Herta on 03/11/2005 13:34:59 I recently got a level 3 10-part storyline mission from her. The CEO's daughter was kidnapped by Blood Angels. The individual missions alternated between kill and courier. On the final mission, I lost a Megathron (had sniper setup when needed blaster setup), but finished it easily with my Brutix. Overall, it was an enjoyable, and profitable, experience.

I get between 0.08% and .18% corp standing for normal missions, but 1.5% to 3% corp standing for storyline missions. So since I want to increase my corp standing as fast as possible, storyline missions are very important to me.
