Imagine a big system with 40 or 60 anoms (combat and ore sites). What if your job is to keep eye out for new sites? How can you find out that new site has spawned if you can't ignore the existing sites? |

I launched pre-made pattern of 8 probes and let them be in space for their full life span 65 mins. After that, the probes automatically returned to the ship just as promised in dev blogs and in the patch notes.
Next, I launched another pattern but manually recalled the middle probe. I left the remaining pattern of 7 probes in space until they ran out of time. This time probes did not return to the ship. I lost them.
Is this a bug or feature? Can anyone else confirm it or was it just a one time issue? |

"Official patch notes" wrote:Instant recall also happens automatically when your ship jumps or docks and when your probes in-space timer runs out. This feature is not quite working. I lost 3 sets of probes yesterday because instant recall didn't happen when probes expired. It seems to me that this feature works if you haven't done anything to the predefined pattern. But if you have alt-dragged to change the overlap, recalled one or more probes manually etc etc, the instant recall fails silently. If this behavior is intended, it should have been documented in the patch notes. |

We decided to stop as it delayed support functions so bad it put chars at risk... Could you give me more info on that... what is it that you have to confirm there? I can't give info but I can make an educated guess: he had fleet member locked for remote support (like RR). He selected the locked target and wanted to activate his remote help module by pressing F1, but he pressed 1 instead, which is bound to tag command. And he got error message saying that you have to be in command position to be able to use tags.

After 1.0.5 patch the probes seem to return to the ship automatically when they would expire. However, you seem to lose probes if they are out when downtime starts. Bug or feature? |

If I'm creating a new bookmark or editing an existing bookmark and paste something to the bookmark name using ctrl-V, the whole text gets automatically selected. This is horrible, since I typically continue typing the finalize the bookmark name. As I type the next character the selected text gets wiped out. Please remove the autoselection after ctrl-V and leave the cursor and focus in the correct spot. |
