Creamdream wrote:Version 2.26 does not properly include the Velocity Modifier for the Expanded Cargoholds... Leading to erroneous speed numbers in EFT.
For instance, putting 4x Expanded Cargohold 2 on a Nereus reduces the ingame speed to 98meter a sec, while EFT reports a speed of 122m/sec. That's with an all lvl 5 setup.
Have 122m/s in EvEDroid too. Are you sure you have the skills that modify the shipspeed leveled to V on the char where the game says 98m/s with that setup? |

Ugly Eric wrote:Hello
First of all thank you for keeping this up to date and keeping this software running. However, I have 1 big issue I cant find an answer to and few small improovement ideas. I beginn with the ideas:
- Can you make EFT to automatically check for updates when starting it up? - Can you make a duplicate character button, so is easier to add different clones to one character rather than fetching via API it always again - Can you add t3 and CS max skilled links into the fleet bonuses window so that I dont need to keep them open always? I believe quite many would use this help. - Add a tool to find old fits that are saved before the ship bonuses were changed and give the option to delete them all at once or choose whitch to delete. - When importing a fit from IG, it throws the drones to cargohold in EFT. Either fix that, OR let us drag'n'drop them to dronebay
Then the big issue I have.
For many years I have had the issue, that EFT looses some of my fittings. Usually it has not lost more than the last like 10-15 or so. I have not been able to find a pattern why or when it does this. Someone else who had the same problem said that his EFT looses fittings, if he closes the software with too many fits open. In my case that is not true either. Now with the last update EFT lost everything. All my fittings and all my character data. I recreated the character data and started to make fits again. Bunch of booster fits, and abunch of pvp stuff. Close the fits 1 by 1 and close EFT. Next time I open EFT, nothing there. Just empty. All character datas, all fits lost. I have heard bunch of other ppl having similar issues. Could this be solveable by saving all client based data to c:\users\... instead of the EFT main folder? By that way updates would atleast not mess up with old fittings.
Anyways, with the latest version this loosing fits thing is getting so annoying I might haveto switch to pyfa instead of my beloved EFT, beacause the effort to create everything from scratch every time my computer reboots, I close EFT or I loose electricity so that computer shuts down.
To 1: Automatic Updating etc. needs an additional Update server. I for myself like to have a buch of old versions of EFT for comparing shipstats over the time. http://i.imgur.com/brk6DyF.png
To 2: There is a "Dublicate Character" option under "Rename" in the Character-management window: http://i.imgur.com/v1FwOa9.png
To 3: This is kind of complicated because you would have to add every singe kind of Setups/Links/Implats etc. to this. So just go, build your Booster, give him implants and maybe boosters and then add him. There are too many possible combinations to just do this by a gerneral menue
To 4: Just keep you fits up to date on each update. There are always only a few ships changed so keeping an eye on this should not be that hard.
To 5: As you can see here: http://goo.gl/NDEh0K when you copy a fit to the Clipboard, the information of the Drones location (Cargohold/Dronebay) is not included in the result. So this is no thing to fix by Gripen, its just lack of information provided by EvE.
And last but not least: Maybe you should consider using the Autosave option provided by EFT http://goo.gl/nu1gT0

Ex: I put Large Remote Armor Repair or Target Painter in projected effects, right click to set ship bonuses like the Nestor or Rapier. Just open a nestor and rapier fit, and drag'n'drop the modules to the target ship's projected effects.
with the method you, Krops Vont, mention there whould still be the question: When you choose the rapier for adding the bonuses to the TP for example....Wich Bonuses should be applied? ReconShip lvl 1? or Recons 5? This can be avoided by using fully fitted shipps this Character selected etc. and than dragging their modules to the "Projected effects" on the target ship. |

That might be because of an uncorrect Checksum. Did you try both download-sources? |

Ajwas Tawar wrote:What's ETA for Citadel release, guys ?
Need A.S.A.P
I'am waiting for it as well but give Gripen some time. Pyfa release for Citadel is out, but many features are still missing. Gripen is always releasing when EFT is done. And I prefer having a full-working EFT instead of having multiple parts not working. Maybe he also includes the Citadels and Citadel fitting or sth. like this. And all the new Modules etc. This takes time.
Go on Gripen, you are doing an excellent job with EFT. |

The biggest difference between Ghost-Fitting and EFT (or other fitting tools) is that you can fit your ships offline, and that you can change skills, implants and boosters to see their effects.
