Ok so let me get this straight..
By your own admission you LIKE to expose cheaters and exploiters, and you by your own admission are one of the richest corps in the game. You also have a high number of polaris members in your corp.
Ok...
So some guy comes along and offers you some stuff tech level 5 items that you know FULL well are not available legitimately in game at the moment. Ok so thats what happened...
Now let us look at the facts, NONE of the polaris members of TTI kicked up a stink, yet if jove items were in game as you claim they would DEFINITELY be the first to know.
Secondly if you are so keen on exposing cheaters and exploiters as you say, why not at least check the tech 5 lasers with gms before using them? And if they are found to be fishy report the guy who sold them...
Something stinks here and there are only two possible options as to what happened.
TTI and their polaris people knew about the lasers being dodgey and just 'forgot' to do anything about it.
OR
None of the polaris and other members thought that there was ANYTHING suspicious about an anonymous guy turning up with equipment that is 4 tech levels above what is currently available.
Are you SERIOUSLY saing you were too inane to wonder how the HELL the guns came into the game?
AND THEN YOU ASK FOR A REFUND?
PUUUUUHLEASE...
You are lucky they are just taking the guns off of you, there are members in tti charged with protecting and sheperding the eve community and THIS is how they behave...

i am in no way attackin you real life ethics, and I couldnt care less about TTI or whatever.
I just think the entire affair stinks basically and nothing you can say will change my opinion, or many peoples opinions, on that fact sadly..
For my part I respect your request to wait for a CCP statement on this (although I will be amazed if one is forthcoming as with the time the gms moved m0o around) and I will post no further on this.
