I know it's largely unimportant in the grand scale of things as far as the EvE universe goes...
But really, staring at blank boxes with exclaimation points and not being able to see my drones flying around the ship because they have no model or graphic is kinda lame. 
Yes I like to stare at my drones. My beautiful...non-existant drones...

i do agree.. would be nice to see them for once since i purchase and use plenty of them.. be nice to see wah they look like i thought it was gonna be fixed in the last patch but obveriously i was wrong.. plzzz even if its not fixed will someone give us a preveiw of them as a jpg

While we're on the topic of annoying little graphic glitches, how about making it so mining lasers actually are connected to the turrets instead of suspended in space. That's bugged me since beta.

There are loads of small little problems like this it would be nice to see CCP put a little effort in to sorting these.

I can live with invisible drones and slightly wonky mining lasers, CCP have bigger more annoying and problematic fish to fry.

well, unless ccp want to keep 'graphics of the year 2003' on the main page forever they better do something to fix all the little niggles. things that surly couldnt take longer than a day to fix, mining lasers that are suspended magically, autocannon barrels that are off set from the gun, textures that dont align or are totally wrong, missing drones missing guns, hulls of ships that twist in on themselves on what could only be a 4th dimension, phantom missile explosions and incorrect icons to name but a few that i experianced today.
but i suppose as long as everything looks good at first glance and seems to work than why bother changing it?!

I've been fiddling with the icon rendering code recently in "downtime" when I'm waiting for something (not server downtime). I just doublechecked and the vespa icon is rendering fine for me with the partially patched up new code, but there are still some issues to sort out before I check in the fixes.
I'll see how it goes, but I'm pretty busy (and working on the weekend already) so I don't know when any fix will be complete.

Fixing the lag is done by programmers and engineers, you know, those awfully clever people that wear tank tops and haven't lost their virginity by they time they are 32.
Fixing the graphics is done by artists and designers, you know, those bright young folks that wear white trousers and have had six flavours of STDs by they time the are 32.
Fixing one does not have to be at the expense of the other.

While you're at it, is the file name "new_wespa2.blue" instead of "new_vespa2.blue" intentional, or just typo? ^^;;

While were fixing icons can we get the Thorax(& every Thorax variation ingame), Minmatar Freighter and Obelisk icons fixed.
Oh all of the drone pictures too?
Ps: Tank tops & bug fixing RULEs.

Since Red is following this thread: will the medium drones ever get their own unique icons? It's kinda sad that they all look exactly alike when all the other drones have their own unique looks which allow one to recognize them without reading their names.
Oh, and will the Praetor ever get a decent icon? It's just a tiny dot against a nebula background for me.

How about the little hole into space on the bottom of the Probe frigate? you can see right through it hehe :)
Oh, and the Claw has these little lights on the top at the sides just inside the wings? Well, on the one side the lights are inverted, so you see the back light from the front and the front light from the back...
all these little graphicky things...

I would play EVE sans graphics if I could. If anything, it'd allow me to use a Dominix without feeling bad about flying around in a huge turd
