i'm not a big missile user myself, actually i fly an Ishkur, but there are enough implants for turret users, and it seems that it's about time missiles users got some skill hardwiring implants to boost their missiles abilities.

I don't want of implants because I'm forced to jump on bubbles on a regular basis... which doesn't always end up well
I don't need implants to be effective with turrets, so there's little reason to use implants to be effective with missiles.
But, of course, if you are rich, or a carebear, or a camper, or a heavy WCS user, sure...

Hammer promiesed implants...but he never promised MISSILE implants. It would be easy for him to wheedle out of it that way if he wanted to...

Anti-Nerf implant -25% chance the modules you are using get passed to tux to modify next patch

yup - missiles need implants in RMR (miners are getting them FFS)
maybe drones should get them with the new patch (not entirely a nerf) as well.

I'll be happy if they just fix missiles so it's actually worthwhile undocking my raven instead of my tempest for PvP.

I don't think he's a devious person, but I do think eager missile users may have misinterpreted him. The thread in question asked for missile implants and a lot of other stuff. His words were to the effect of "Implants are easy content to generate, and I promise more implants in the next patch". There was NO mention of if they'd be missile implants or not.

Let me say for the record I am NOT implyimg Hammer is devious. It wouldn't be the first time a thread has wandered off topic, and someone has made a comment that was taken out of context.
I should add that in the very same thread I asked Hammer to confirm that he meant missile implants. He never replied.

How comes you don't need turret implants to be very effective and it wouldn't be the same with missiles?
Do you want people come to the boards in a month saying everything is fine because with X, Y, Z implants missiles are even remotely close to turrets efficiency without implants?

By all means start another thread about that.
In this thread, please stay on topic and discuss only WHEN we will see missle implans and WHAT bonuses we can expect.

* rate of fire
* missile base damage
* explosion radius reduction
* explosion velocity increase
* missile velocity increase
