After some hours of hacking in low sec I'm starting to get an idea of how loot is distributed between the different kinds of mini containers.

If you find any errors or have additions, pls let me know.
On a side note: I make around 100-150m ISK/hour with low sec data/relic sites. This includes scanning and traveling. Total test time: Around 8 hours. |

The patchnotes state that Data AND relicsites can drop faction towers or modules.
Also people claim that scrapcontainers contain nonscrap. Not from my experiance though.
Datasites also drop target breaker BPCs |

Maybe a typo? Seems odd to me that only one type of blueprints drop in relic sites while generally blueprints only drop in data sites. I'll wait til it's confirmed by someone.

I don't know. I actually think people might have mixed up containers or not watched which container poped which loot icon correctly. I've looted a lot of scraps (just for the sake of finding the loot tables) and never got anything else than scraps.

I've gotten a Dark Blood large pulse battery BPC, 3 run, from a relic site, so faction BPCs for sure can come from relics. Have you seen one come from a data, or are you guessing? |

In which container was the bpc? in a data can? or somewhere else? ;)

In addition, Combat ladar, now named Gas sites, use also the minigame. The ennemies are still there, mind you. I did get some booster bpc in data containers but cant tell for the rest of the loot (which should include gaz harvesters) as I had no cargo scanner... |

Well, as noted in the first post, that is in the process of changing. 100-150m/hour was on the first day. Have'nt been exploring today yet, but I would estimate it's dropped to something like 80m/hour. |

Hey, thanks for mentioning the combat gas sites. I actually was wondering if they still include hacking pre patch, but then forgot about them as I got no answer.
However, I'd like to include them in this list. Unfortunately I can't run them myself as this toon's (which is my only one at the moment) combat skills are pretty much non-existent.
So, any info on how the loot in those sites is now distributed is highly appriciated. |

It's pretty random in null, but I just lifted 21 cap consoles from one relic site, current market value around 360m. Those are probably going to hold their price, given the ridiculous number needed for T2 Capital ccc rigs. I may be wrong though.
A group of three in my corp ran relics & datas for a couple of hours today & netted about 200m each, not including 2 DB POS Battery BPC's.
There is an extremely nifty trick we've discovered which saves time and can ensure the best drops are snatched up. PM me in-game and I may be inclined to let you know what it is..
Edit: Nvm, It's already been revealed in other threads. Cargo Scanner. Use it. If you discover there's a mystical faction tower bpc in the hacking crate, whistle up your mates. You do NOT want to miss that spawn container.. |

Traveled in nullsec yesterday. Made around 400 Mio. ISKies in loot in only three hours actual play time. (at some point in nullsec you just have to cloak up and do something else for half an hour to get rid of the nasty home-defense-fleets some entities will throw on you).
Thx CCP. Great expansion. Already like it. Also its a lot of fun. You are meeting a lot of other explorers out there, today i was in a site but could only watch two guys doing it, one cov ops and one dramiel guarding him. Next time I will fly with my buddy again I hope. |

In hisec I'm getting ~ 1 mil isk per hack on data and ~100 isk per hack on relic
(the hisec income from the old magnetos used to come from the rats, they're gone now) |

Spatial Attunement Units in Relic sites are not in the Data cans. Tried multiple times got all data cans and no drops when cargo scan said there should be,
Tried the Equipment cans and every time the SAU was in those. |

data cans in drone space will drop BPCs for pimped drones (integrated, augmented ...)

You dont cargo scan the small cans. You cargo scan the can you are hacking to see if there is anything worth in it. For example if you are doing a data site and you see there is a nice bpc in it you will focus on grabbing data cans. If you see nice salvage for example you will go for parts 1st/ material 2nd. I tell you if you know what you can get you will definitily get it by choosing the right cans. You have enough time to get them. Just dnt ever grab scaps/equipment. |

I had my hunks to what was in which container and it's nice to see it confirmed. Been doing it the right way, also when you've scanned, seen the content and got that one bpc, go for the parts containers!  |

Also is it better to sit sitill and single click your cans or double click and go chasing them?
