The patchnotes state that Data AND relicsites can drop faction towers or modules.

Also people claim that scrapcontainers contain nonscrap. Not from my experiance though.

Datasites also drop target breaker BPCs.

I've gotten a Dark Blood large pulse battery BPC, 3 run, from a relic site, so faction BPCs for sure can come from relics. Have you seen one come from a data, or are you guessing?

Spatial Attunement Units in Relic sites are not in the Data cans. Tried multiple times got all data cans and no drops when cargo scan said there should be,

Tried the Equipment cans and every time the SAU was in those.

How do you have time to run cargo scanners? For me the little buggers disappear faster than hell

Also is it better to sit sitill and single click your cans or double click and go chasing them?

Also, I'm pretty sure now after continued tests and also by comparing with reports of other people that SAU's are contained in parts containers.

I believe the range is 3000m now.
I find that in most cases you don't need to move at all to get all the desired types of mini containers, but sometimes you will have to - so it depends really.

I've grabbed every equipment container without getting the SAU that was there, so it's gota be in something else.

Data containers in relic sites also contain ASB BPCs.

anyone confirm faction POS tower BPC looted?

Crap loot is in same containers as other sites.

Equipment containers are the ones where you can get the Gaz harversters.

Data containers drop the lol loot (17 efficient torture methods and stuff like that)

I wasnt able to find which drop the implants yet, doesnt seem to be equipments, I'll have to find new sites to find this out.

Funny stuff, i failed at opening one can 4 times in a row and it didnt explode, instead, frigates appeared, Is it a bug or working as intended, I dont know....

i login to SiSi to try some sites at null sec. there's a Large AAR BPC in relic site too.

Added. Do you know if they can drop both T1 and T2? Can't remember from the times I ran those sites.

What do you mean by that? Couldn't find an item called "Efficient Torture Methods" in the client.
Also, I have added the Nanite Control skill book, as I remember this to be one of the jackpot lewts I was allways looking for back in the day. I'm just assuming they drop from data containers, but I think this is a solid assumption considering that in both other site types skill books also drop from data. There might be more skill book drops.

Also: According to a fellow explorer who wrote me ingame, the flavour items in gas facility sites seem not to be contained in data but rather in one of the other container types. Can somebody confirm their correct distribution?

I've got complete different loot then from what i got from the cargo scan very odd .

What about the faction structures it'sself? I've come across 2 of these so far on my cargo-scanner however I haven't been able to get my hands on one yet (I did have the needed cargo capacity). I can't remember which kind of site I was in the first time I saw one, but the second time I was in a data site. It didn't drop from data cans (there were only 2 of these spewed and I looted both of them).

Can anyone confirm seeing these on the cargo-scanner and preferably even give some more info about looting it if you had more luck than I had.

I've found and looted a faction tower BPC and several of the faction POS mods. As with every other BPC, I've only looted them in data cans. Unless something has changed recently (I've not had time to run sites the past few weeks) it seems like you may have missed a data can hiding someplace?

I would be really surprised if there can be actual POS structures in the minicontainers. I think you might either have made a mistake or maybe there's a rare bug with the cargo scanner results?
