Arathmon > Now for something that has just cropped up recently on the boards: TTi is claiming to have a 'Nibelung' Particle Bore Stream V. Is there any truth to this and could a GM make a statement on it soon? It is making quite a stir on the boards currently.

dont be daft ppl, it could have been 500 miners as far as we know, and there can be t5 weapons at TTI as well, WE CANT KNOW IT CAN WE.
"IF" if was a starter ship being tested it shouldnt have been in LIVE friggin server, we need official statement from CCP and we need to know the names of the ppl involved and we need them banned and if they are in fact GM¦s then they should be fired

Edited by: Neptunus on 07/08/2003 04:17:08 See I knew TTI was not to be blamed.
Now what about all that money that TTI paid for the laser that wasn't supposed to be in the game? Why does TTI lose out in this deal?
Like I said in the other post, it is actually a very good point that TTI makes - in the Role Playing story, Jovians are out there introducing a few rare "godly" items into the game. The Jovians are known for high technology and these would be like little mini-events where the GMs embody Jovians, go out there, role-play, then introduce items.
So these items find their way to TTI, the best stuff goes to where the money is. Or at least, where the money was before they paid god knows what for it. A travesty I say!

Perhaps if TTI were not so "self serving" in making their billions on the backs of the poor I'd be more willing to allow them a refund. Instead this should be a learning experience for TTI.

Nobody forces people to join TTI
So i dont see what your problem with them is. If they really have such "slave labour" then there miners could always leave, but they seem to be enjoying themselves.
You cant blame TTI for what some dumb GM did. They just happened to be at the right place at the right time. _______________________________________________

The funniest thing is that your shortsighted comments are exactly what TTI is all about :) Pick up a copy of Atlas Shrugged next time you're at a book store and read up on the subject. Oh wait ... You probably can't read.

Answer to that question starts with another question: Did they use it?
If they used it (and I'm fairly certain they did), they might as well write off whatever they paid as a rental fee. I'm 100% positive CCP has no way to track how much ore that miner (or miners, since that part is still unclear for me at least) extracted. It would be impossible to retrieve that ore from anything manufactured from it. The trail ends at that item, with no way of determining what has transpired between the time of purchase and the removal of the item from their hands.
If TTI is intelligent, I'd suggest acting very meek right about now concerning what happened. Shrug a lot and repeat the mantra "It's only isk and virtual isk at that". The corporation's image took a major blow today. Yes, the whole corporation as the actions of the individual members do carry over onto the whole. Repairing the damage means swallowing a tough pill. Playing wounded party, given the overall position of your corporation in the game, will only exacerbate the damage done.
I mean its like you want corporations to oblige each other like its sex or something. Pffft I would rather **** my enemy.- Rohann

Having to weed through the endless communist opinions by people who aren't as good at making money than TTI and then proclaim that TTI should give what they have made to those leechers does seem to keep going on over and over again, really a shame that so many people seem to feel the need to waste their time on these forums instead of using it like TTI to make ISK. The longer you follow TTI the more it becomes clear that indeed it's a minority of TTI personel that even post in these forums, yet they still seem to get the most PR and the most threads about themselves in these same forums. Indeed much of their whole PR right now seems to be based on a bunch of whiners who in every thread and place yell out about the injustice that TTI are so good at what they do, one could really ask what better advertisment TTI could ask for, especially without actually having to pay for it.
Looking at the TTI recruitment and its depth I'd say that they prolly don't go through all that trouble to specifically find drones and slave labour as some of the whiners call them, afterall the very values and ideas that TTI stand for stand opposite the idea of drones and slaves, and as someone stated, if a person doesn't like a corp they can always leave and so far I've not seen any workers leaving TTI because they were slaves, the TTI membership seems to still be steadily rising, perhaps also due to all this free PR they are getting.

Way it looks is that a certain fellow gave the mining laser to somebody who sold it to tti, who used it. Thus exploiting something not meant to be ingame.
Teleport them all 40 jumps in their bestowers! Errr, or not.
What seems really stupid is that TTi with Ragnar's posts seem to be attempting to decide for CCP what relations between TTi and the jove are like.. It's kinda stupid when a lame corporation tries to hijack a game's storyline and make it serve their interests..
Sure they "roleplayed" but it's kinda like if you roleplay a priest who decides what his god does.. i.e. Lame.

Envious people and jealousy, it's that simple.

So why Tomb was that 'starter ship' allowed out in the game so early? Why and how did TTI get their hands on it? Why do you and Pann and the others suck up to TTI so much? nose, brown are words that come to mind. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> The Inquisition Long live the Inquisition Long live the Emperor Long live Amarr!
