afraid for what, the cruise missiles deal less damage points and in stead of having 50 hp they have 24 hp the only advantage is that they are a liddle faster... and they are way to expensive to use for mission runners.
these t2 missiles go on the junk-pile togeter with the basic items, the cap flux coil and the invulnerability field

That "Null L" (dont know if they are still looking for a name or its the actual name of the ammo ) advance blaster ammo gonna boost Blasterthron big time: 25% range bonus. 25% falloff bonus, 0 cap usage and more damage then the current Antimater L. YAY
Finally, Blasterthron will be what it should have been long time ago: king of the hill in close combat.

Null ammo doesn't get any cap bonus, which means it uses the same amount of energy as antimatter. Sorry to burst your bubble

It says: Capacitor Need Bonus: -100%. Doesnt that mean NO CAP ?
As for tracking penalty, you have looked at a different one. Null doesnt have a tracking penalty listed on the DB.
Lets not forget that this numbers arent final. However i think the direction each new ammo aims its obvious. YAY again :P

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I think these ammo types have been in the DB for (at least) months now, if not more. I remember having been excited about finding them until older players than myself told me they've been in there for a long time.

T2 ammo has been in the db for a long time, yeah. I remember reading the stats from eve-i over a year ago - I think back then they just had different damage types though. The penalties and modifiers to tracking/falloff/shield hp etc. listed there at the moment are more recent I believe, but I have no idea if that means the last six months or last week. I'd still advise taking them with a pinch of salt ;p.

I have a question, why in heck is there something called:
Quote: Snowball MMIV This snowball is bigger then your head. Its shape looks suspiciously like it could fit into a snowball launcher with great ease.
Max Velocity 1,000 m/sec
Detonation proximity 35 m
Thermal damage 246 HP
Max Flight Time 10,000 sec

Theres no point even discussing T2 ammo since it has not been released yet.
Im hoping they will just be the same as T1 but with 10% more damage, and needing the relevant turret specialisation skill at 5 to fit them.

Another thought.
Has anyone considered what it will mean to be firing 300,000 isk missiles from your raven in pvp? Thats almost 2m isk per volly. With the nerfing of dmg mods and the massive buff to tanking you could actually spend more in ammo then the value of the enemies ship.
Well not likely, but well 20m isk per kill.

Looks line CCP is still working on them...
The heavy missiles look kinda ok... with a 125% extra flight time and slightly higher damage output they might just be worth the price.
Torps are looking quite well but then again the initial mining barges looked at least as and they turned out to be worth having in the end. So I guess we will have to wait and see, but I am all for introducing this new ammo all that I hope is that instead of having only players building T2 ammo at least a singal racial corp will be selected for each kind of ammo and will be producing this (the core factions navy springs to mind) This way the market will not be ruled by the 4 or 5 major T2 producers out there and people wil be able to buy it instead of having to take a day off from work just to fly to and from their local suplier in their Freighter. ------------------------------------------- Should you disagree with me, well I guess that is because I disagree with you. If you have a problem with that please feel free not to tell me. |

Relax people, T2 ammo has been in the database for >1 year, probably since Castor. Anything like this will need to be tested to hell and back before it is introduced. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Everyone should read the EVE Tracking Guide. |

somehow i doubt CCP will make a t2 missile cost 300k.
5k per missile would be too expensive

CCP wont effect the cost becasue they cant, the player-ruled market will dictate the price. ___________________________ Chicks dig Brutor's |

That ammo has been in the database for months - At least a year.
Don't panic - I'm sure CCP has more sense then that.
