Thanks for all your superior feedback on the missiles in various threads. I would also like to apoligize for the lack of feedback from CCP's side on this matter.
We have been aware of few problems with missiles since the new mechanics entered in the Cold War addon. It was expected that issues would arise that we would need to solve and that's what we will do. The problems are not considered to be in the new mechanics that got added to the missile system but in the balance of them.
Below are topics that are considered needing attention asap. Other missile related topics from you are more than welcomed in here.
Standard Explosion Velocity is the biggest problem for Lights, increase will be made.
Assault The role of the Assault Launcher doesn't fit very well into play for a cruiser sized weapon. We have discussed adding new types of missiles (Assault Missiles) for some time; that can act similar to Rockets & Torpedoes for cruisers.
Heavy Heavy Launcher RoF has already been improved; Caracal/Cerberus not getting enough firepower out of these launchers even with their mighty bonuses and the heavy launcher not filling up as support damage to other ships with launcher bays (Moa, Rupture, Ferox, Sacrilege, Cyclone are good examples, even very good). Heavy missile damage per m¦ is being looked at and will most likely get improved to ~125m¦, to increase the damage per m¦ and place it between light and cruise.
Explosion Velocity & the damage fall off based on exceeding velocity for all missiles will be looked at in the near future.

If you order any items window by "type", it sorts all lasers together, all hybrids together, all projectiles together, even all drones together...but not missile launchers. Any chance you could fix this while you are at it?

I've updated the starting post of this thread that includes awnsers to some of your questions.
Note that I'm currently not able to respond to every question you have concerning missiles (or blasters..), we be working on getting a lot of improvements, features and content for upcoming patch. I know I could stop sleeping but then again I would also be braking icelandic law.

I've checked your graphs and math and it all looks very intressting and even has nice colours (most importand of everything!), I will have a better look at them in the near future.
Can't reply with feedback to your work at this time, to do any research on it or changes even just for testing purposes, takes more time and effort than we currently have (upcoming content patch). That's where "a bit much" comes from, not stating that what you have been proposing is to much.

Lights have been improved in missile explosion velocity.
Heavy missiles explosion radius has been improved.
Cargo that missiles need has been reduced for various missile types.
Heavy Launcher rate of fire has been improved.
That's it for now, more will happen post RMR.
