As you may have noticed of late the IC are trying very hard to bring out more news and keep everyone up to date on what happened, with who and where. To continue writing on all the large events, either started by players, aurora or CCP we need more reporters.
We need dedicated, capable writers that are willing to report on events, both player and npc. These are the criteria you need to conform to in order for us to consider you:
- 18 years or older
- Be creative and a team player
- A good grasp of eveÆs Prime Fiction
- A good grasp of where the different factions, player and NPC, stand
- Write and understand the English language
If you are interested in being a part of the eve news team, please fill in the ISD application form, and select Aurora. Then, e-mail us at [email protected] and I will review your application as soon as possible. If you do not mail me after it my dearest colleagues might snatch you up before I have a chance. If you already have an application in please update it, and mention you are interested in joining the IC.
The benefits are that you are a part of a great friendly bunch of volunteers, you get to talk to me, you can ask people annoying questions about issues they rather forget sometimes and write something stunning.

No you will not have to sacrifice a slot on your own private account. You will get a volunteer account on which you can create a single character needed for reporting the news.

It was a silly idea.
I think I can say that all teams in ISD are looking for people who love EVE, not people who wants to be in ISD to remain in EVE.

You know, I'm kinda glad I am leaving Eve tbh, I don't need to put up with smartass remarks like that.
All I have wanted to do is help make a better Eve.
I wanted to help new players, and I wanted to add content for them to enjoy.
I honestly don't think I deserved that low-blow Wrangler, but if it makes you feel big you go for it.
Sorry Avon, but I didn't mean it like that at all.
I was trying to say that joining ISD if you're tired of EVE isn't a good idea at all. Not for you because if you're tried you might get sick of the tests and training and all of that and not for ISD because we might get a person who is tired and doesn't do what they should do. It wasn't meant as an insult at all and I apologise if it seemed that way.
Maybe you just need a break? RMR might not bring a lot of content, but at least there will be some, and that might be a good time to come back and check things out. Or maybe you need a shorter break or even a longer break? It's up to you, but I know how you feel, I've taken breaks from EVE and ISD at some points as well, and being away for a while helps sometimes.

We do take forum warnings into account as well as ingame warning, we may ignore a few minor ones but if you have been banned there is not much chance you will be accepted.
