I think the CFC is one of the last places we would chose if we left TEST. I also think people are really underestimating how many people will stick with TEST if we get beaten, perfectly willing to do faction war or NPC Null for a while until a sov opportunity comes up.
If TEST closed my list would include Brave Newbies and Nulli but not anyone in the CFC. I might try to join BL just so I can annoy Woderick.
But we're a long way from that, I think it could only happen if no one wants to run the alliance. And Booda seems to be having a ball at the moment.
For all that you're right, Random Majere, the Goons would love to have Redditors. My spies tell me a Join Goonswarm if You Hate Reddit banner campaign is being planned by Mittens to be launched on Reddit. He is clearly getting desperate! |

Pinned thread in TWR if you find it hard to believe.
Mind you no secret that geniunely prolific SA posters like Weaslior and Vile Rat have been a tiny minority at SA for some time. And the recent newbie drive spent hundreds of dollars to produce less newbies than Dreddit gets naturally in a month without trying. |

Don't know how to tell you this but there is already a large ex TEST contingent in Goonswarm. You are right in that I don't expect TEST to completely fold. They will **** off to Syndicate for a while, rebuild and become a better alliance for it, but if you don't think there won't be a fair number of defectors you are crazy.
Don't know how to tell you this but there is already a large ex [any large nullsec alliance] contingent in [any large nullsec alliance].
I'm ex-WI so that kinda makes me an honorary ex-Goon, right?
I don't know how many will defect. I think if they want to rat and mine in null and aren't too fussed about pvp they'd be crazy to join you guys or your ludicrous pets when they could join BOT or S2N. PL/N3 are a bloc now. No, they are THE bloc now. |

Actually the only thing someone needs to do to kill people in null is join a fleet, listen to the instructions, press F1. |

You still don't get it do you?
You're not going to win. You're not going to execute anyone. You're going to lose. Your pubbies carebears and j4gs will abandon you leaving Goonswarm an empty shell of bitter posters. |

Give us a few days, kk? Try with Naga's next time might be more suc.... oh nevermind.
Nagas (it's spelled without an apostrophe) are great ships.
The main issue at the moment is TEST's rather lethargic reaction to the invasion. When we were fighting in 1-S and NOL we were pulling well over 1000. After a lot of effort rallying we've pushed our numbers for Fountain defence strat ops from <40 to about 300.
At some point the 700 or so active pvpers who are willing to defend Delve will be persuaded that this invasion concerns them. Hopefully soon but if not soon then when DBRB SBUs NOL they should wake up. |

I'm not sure you should be using polysyllabic words yet. Are you thinking the phrase "people executed" means ships forced off field?

Was it you who relisted them while they were being murdered? Someone bought them out in B-D and relisted for triple we heard during the fight. |

Have you seen the market prices for those caracals? They're costing you more than drakes. At some point drakes became bad and devalued hard. I don't find that surprising at all. That doesn't mean Caracals are like, super valuable things we must protect at all costs, every loss of which Goonswarm will come to rue. Nothing you can say will make it any less hilarious that a sov holding nullsec alliance is running around in caracals. Nothing. Caracals are a viable doctrine so I don't understand why you think it's humorous.
CFC dudes rate ships by their ability to rat.

Well played Boat, almost got your pod ;) Hey, tell us about welping a Navy Apoc fleet on the B-D undock with no logistics support.
It had been a dark time for the Rebellion. From their gigantic Empire in the North the CFC sent Techfleet and the feared ewarmancers of FYFleet down in massive numbers to be met by a lethargic reaction from the bold rebel heroes.
After a week of desperate rearguard options fighting out-numbered the fickle but wonderful forces of Pandemic Legion descended from Cloud City along with other friends emerging from more shadowy locales.
Victory!
Buoyed up by a wave of enthusiasm and the news that VFK had been SBUed our FC warped all the Foxcats to the B-D undock. History now shows that this was not a good idea. |

Well played Boat, almost got your pod ;) Hey, tell us about welping a Navy Apoc fleet on the B-D undock with no logistics support. Since boat just murdered a bunch of T3s (like 41) and didn't lose much of note besides dictors... http://eve-kill.net/?a=kill_related&adjacent&kll_id=18184435I'd say Boat ~rolled~ on ya.
He did indeed, he's a great FC. Sadly underappreciated where he works now:
Endie wrote:On the leadership thing, Dbrb couldn't be CEO of Goonswarm without an astonishing number of accidental deaths. He's a charming if slightly odd boy, but he'd be a terribly bad leader. Also, he's not an SA goon, and we are racists that way. Glass ceiling itt.
I must say I was super-impressed that boat went from something like 280lbs down to a pretty normal weight in this last seven or eight months.
Of course if he were to seek alternative employment elsewhere I can put him in touch with a small band of Rebel heroes who have 8 regions full of structures to grind, from Cloud Ring to Vale. I hear he loves leading structure grinds. |

I remember him barging into other people's fleets and taking over which I think is a lot of the reason why he was rather resented when he first started out as a coalition FC. This was about 3 years ago.
He's matured into one of Eve's best, it's great fighting him. |

He trolls us in other ways too. Not the newbies... Newbies are precious and innocent. It's bad enough we trick them into attending pos shoots, dying unceremoniously from a pos gun because :boat:, that's a crime, like infanticide. From when I was a newbie I remember Boat telling all the cruisers and below to go watch one of the gates, actually.
That one's reasonable on a POS shoot, otherwise the guns might kill you.
