How exactly, without using wormnav, can you tell the type of wormhole you have entered? Are there any tools in game that tell you the difference between a C1 C2 C3???
Also, how can you know if a wormhole has statics again without using wormnav?
Is there a way to tell this information without third party tools? |

IIRC somewhere out there there is a pictorial guide of pictures of wormholes and depending on where u were, what they will lead you to.
For the part of Statics, I'm quite sure its done be people who pain-stakenly mapped it out. and probably on a data dump somewhere. :> |

You can usually tell simply by the colours of the wormhole you used to get in. Check this chart Every wormhole has a static - scan the system - if there's only the one wormhole that is NOT a K162 signature, then that is the static wormhole. Use this chart to identify the wormhole IDs. Member of the EVE Blog Pack - Through Newb Eyes Twitter - TG_3 |

Just off the top of my head
C1 mostly blue in colour but with a green streak somewhere in the system. C2 all blue C3 Kind of a weird yellowy colour C4 Lots of orange green and yellow C5 Black and red reminds me of HELL C6 RED RED RED and more RED
unlike most game with a defining graphic in them in EVE the colour of the Wormhole you have jumped through is directly related to the system that WH leads to. |

Type 'Static mapper' into google. Also, a google search on 'wormhole identification eve online' gives me the asnwer your looking for 5 websites down, and about 4-5 posts on the eve forums that ask a similar questions, with fair answers (as the 2nd result).
Also, www.staticmapper.com - if you have google aversion.
Thread could have been started in the wormhole sub-forum?

You use eveeye.
or you learn the color of the nebula that relates to the class.
And the background that relates to the different effects.
