Everytime i dock into the amsen station, i get stuck, it has happened 3 times now.
I petition and a while later, im freed.
The problem i have is that i need to use amsen, all my skills are there.
Each petion i ask them to "please" inform me if that station is bugged, and they never reply. i cant use this station, and i dont think they care, customer relations, i think NOT.

Have patience, wait. They are probably working on it your not the only one.
How much work would you be able to get done if you had someone on your back pulling at your shirt asking, "Are youdone yet? are you done yet?"
Otherwise leave the game.

Beleive me, its more of a pain for them to have GMs staffed to unstick you than it is for them to fix the bug if they knew how.

"How much work would you be able to get done if you had someone on your back pulling at your shirt asking, "Are youdone yet? are you done yet?"
That's not our concern.
If CCP can't handle issues, solve problems and put forth high quality customer support, they will lose subscribers, as they have been and will continue to do so.

Edited by: Dragon Emperor on 07/08/2003 15:17:32 agree with WhiteDwarf, Why the hell I need keep patient and hope CCP MAY fix it someday.....Business is business, customers shouldn't care about how hard they are working on issues, if there's a problem, FIX IT is the only customers' concern, if it's a serious problem, then FIX IT NOW is the only customers' concern.

Try clearing your cache. The station might not be bugged.
Just try it.

They do have a point. All the whining on these boards itn't going to fix the bug...is it?
So in war, the way is to avoid what is strong and to strike at what is weak. |

Edited by: Kalhan on 07/08/2003 15:43:51 I know what bugs are in the game. If a system gets bugged I petition and they move me.
I have noticed that the game isn't quite finished yet and has many problems it just started. They will have many more problems.
The game will get better. I like it right now. I wish there weren't so many bugs but it is still playable.
They have a 30day trial. If you don't like it. Take it back to the store and ask for a refund.
Customers come and go they know this. So go... What are you waiting for? More customers will take your place. How do ou know how hard somthing is or not. They have lots of mail to read and decide wiether to reply to. you are not the only one playing the game.
Its just a game. Many things you buy don't live up to what you think you paid for.
Go play something else. Leave.
Complaining about it on these boards is not going to fix it.

set them up as courier missions for your alt, and try picking them up using a 'fresh' character. I know my game runs a damn sight smoother on my alts than on my main.
Failing that, tell me what station you have trouble with, and if it's nearby, *I'll* dock there myself, see what happens. .

ppl who care for eve, bring comments like mine up, thats why we have this website, to comment on problems and issues.
im just bringing up problem hoping that they will maybe look into these items, and sort the thing that ALL of their staff should be working on, "customer relations".
i dont really care if im stuck for 2 days, just tell me they r having problems, treat me nice and il be happy
I am not forcing any1 to post here, but plz if u are a prat dont even try.
Not according to your post title and original post.
What the first post says is "you guys aren't fixing this fast enough, CCP doesn't care about its costomers." And from what I have heard those kinds of post don't address problems but flame CCP and are unwanted.

If you really care about eve. You would stop posting complants like this and put them where they belong either on the Bug forum or their E-mail.
I see atleast 1 o 2 news post ingame and on website on systems being stuck. Then they post back that they are unstuck sometime later. the staff has made it clear the this is how they will let you know when things are broken and/or fixed. what yyou seem to be looking for is a personnel address reply. Don't you think others want to know that it the system is stuck or it is fixed.
Complaining about it isn't going to fix it.

Edited by: XARiUS on 07/08/2003 16:36:21 I've sat back and read so SO many hundreds of these "CCP sucks" or "the devs suck' threads, and I can't take it any longer.
<soapbox>
Most of you are showing your blatant ignorance by saying CCP is doing a horrible job, or that the devs suck and can't fix anything. If any of you had ever come CLOSE to working on a project this size, then you would understand what everyone is going through. Programming is not clicking the f'ing "Fix Bug" button, it takes a lot of time, and a *LOT* of testing and re-testing.
Unfortunately in CCP's case, most all of the whiners are riding CCP's coattails and forcing them to release patches which probably haven't been tested quite as much as they should have been, simply in an attempt to shut everyone up. It's an old trick in the software industry, even if you haven't fixed it yet, give them something so they shut up or at least whine about something else.
No one should be expected to work 24/7. So just because you get stuck in a station, or a stargate, try WAITING until they fix it instead of being a f'n moron and docking right back at the same station. You'll save yourself and a lot of other people a lot of headaches.
Take a reality check people, projects of this size take time. Lots and lots of time, so grab a coke, have a drink, smoke a bowl, whatever, and just chill the F out and have fun playing the game. I've been playing since almost day one, and have yet to find something that really drives me up the wall, except threads like this.

yawn!!.
I dont care if im stuck in a stion for 2 days, thats what i said!!!!!.
My prob is that they never answered my question regarding "can i go back to the staion in amsen". when they got me clear from the station, i went back another day now im stuck again, more work for the devs, so if they had a customer care depatment(laughs), i would have no problem.
So every1 stuck on their high horse crying over me crticising their way of dealing with problems, SHUT UP. dont answer plz, the more u keep telling them, ooh it doesnt matter, its bugged to hell, but we dont care, the less problems will get solved.
1 thing which gives me many laughs on this forum, is the amount of stupid ppl, its sooooooooo funny. no1 ever seems to read your posts properly. ha ha.

I really don't understand why the GMs, or at the very least, Polaris members, can't simply notify everyone either here in a sticky thread or in-game with the News(that silly popup only works for people currently online) What systems are currently Stuck.
My wishlist would be a new window in the game who's sole purpose is to show currently broken systems..
I mean, is it really that much trouble for a GM to let everyone know what systems to avoid?

heh, I only wish they did.. When they do, it's sporadic.. Last week, I logged in, started an agent mission and was promptly stuck 2 systems away. I filed a petition and waited with a freshly created alt for 4 hours to get unstuck.. Apparently there were a large number of systems having problems and the GMs were having trouble keeping up.. When I went into the Help channel to find out why they weren't posting the stuck systems to the news, I was *****ed out by a Polaris member, then told I should have avoided the system I was stuck in(?!?!)
That's the part I don't get. They were flooded with stuck petitions, having trouble keeping up because people unknowingly went to the systems, yet not one of them thought to post a list of the broken systems anywhere to save them the trouble of getting even more stuck petitions. Makes no sense.

For example, Look at the current news for today..
They're overloaded with petitions...
They took time to say they're overloaded, but they *still* aren't listing the systems causing all the petitions!
