Sheesh enough allready...
Ever consider this might just be in the way of fun to a lot of people.
No way id ever go throwing money around out in the real world on casino betting, so do us a favour and cease with the real world anology.
But y'know in in the world of eve, it could be kinda fun, it's a plus point for social acctivity in the game... something that not blowing the crap out of each other, mining roids, or spamming the wts channels...

Great idea
to Galk:
When I was open for the first time, I had a very positive response. There were of course the select handfull of players who wanted to have their witch burned at a stake, and cheered, laughed and taunted me when I was asked to shut down.
Those players for the most part compared this to real world anologies.

I'm interested, but not sure what is involved. I think I have the required attributes too, but I am not teh CEO.
1: I think enough people trust me, and I am curteous.
2: What exactly is a lot of isk?
3: damn, not a ceo, but I am a director
4: What work is actually involved, if it is just verifying and registering people and making payouts, I have teh time.
5: we have a forum...

I wonder why the Dev's removed Casinos from stations after Beta?

A lot of people gamble because it's fun. To most EVE players putting down 3-5mil a week to play some poker for ISK isn't exactly game-ruining, in fact it sounds like a lot of fun to me. So what if I lose some ISK, the idea is to enjoy yourself, not strike it rich :)

That is important. If they do not trust you, then I can't trust you. Reputation is a means of preventing scammers from running a casino on my system. If you have a reputation to protect, then you are much less likely to just keep the isk and dissapear, and have already proven that you can be trusted.
2: What exactly is a lot of isk?
It really depends on how high you want to raise your credit limits. I opened originally with a little over 1 bil, and my credits were only worth 100isk each. I made a little off of it, but I was down about 100mil in the beginning. I would say that 4 bil would probably be more than sufficiant. The idea is to make sure you can in fact back it up if you start losing isk, and people start cashing out in the beginning.

This is flexible. As long as your reputation precedes you, and you are well known throuhout EVE as an honest person, those references will help you. It would be better for you to start a corp specifically for the casino if you are chosen.

The process is very simple, and works like this:
Players send you isk with their MMOCasino username as the comment.
You (or your agents) log into the casino controls on MMOCasino, enter their username, and then enter the ammount of isk they sent.
Once that is done, the player is notified by email automatically, and can begin playing immediately.
All games are automated and run by the system.
Once they are done, they will cash out, and their isk will be added to a Que with their in game character name, and the ammount in isk that you owe them.
From there you have 1 person go through the list 1 at a time, send the isk to the character in-game, and then check them as complete from the que list.

An actual hosted website would be ideal, but I am not picky. I am simply looking for people who have proven themselves to have enough of an interest the game to actually take the time to create and maintain something outside of the game related to their corporation.

Gambling is a tax on stupidity.
I think they should add the old beta casinos back if the devs like the idea.

Yes, the site is still in (re)development, and there are a few bugs here and there.
I will let you know when it is complete.
But first I need some casinos running on there. ;)
